our budget is about 1200 maybe a little more. We are looking for just a fun gun to go plinking with. Main things are accuracy and comfort. have done some reading but cant seem to find a nice trigger. also where do you guys suggest i get my upper assembly and my stripped lower + furniture? Thanks!

Go HERE. Read and learn. Then check out some of our sponsers, they have GREAT prices. As long as you stay with familiar names you will be okay. For $1200 you can actually buy TWO nice basic iron site rifles if you build them yourself.

For accuracy and comfort go with a good trigger. Larue has a good trigger on sale at times for around $90. Also Velocity trigger is a very good single stage trigger@ $125
