It is a decent price. What makes that stock special? I'm not really a fan of collapsible stocks so educate me.

It locks into place with no play once adjusted to the length you want.

I bought the "Safariland" FDE version. This stock is not that much different than a Mapgpul CTR M, except it works on Commercial or MilSpec Buffer Tubes, and weighs as much as a butterfly. The Safariland version is still a Rogers Super Stoc, it is just made under license by Safariland, it still has the Rogers name on it.
I got mine at Midway for $69.99

Can any Kalifornian gun owner be a collapsible stock fan? It has to be pinned right? So what is the point in that case. Just saying.

No it doesn't have to be pinned if you have a bullet button. That is the beauty of the cursed bullet button. If you use a bullet button you can only use 10rd max magazines but you can have all the "evil features". If you don't use a bullet button you can use magazines with more than 10rds you owned before the ban but you can't have any "evil features".

If I see one of those stocks I'll have to give it a much closer look.

I bought mine as I wanted to branch out from Magpul, but don't like VLTOR or LMT. This stock is as lite as a feather and super solid.

I like them both. They are both great stocks. The Super Stoc is a tad lighter than the CTR. The locking lever takes some getting used to.
