One 10mm is just a 'fling', but four or more becomes a serious romance! A S&W 10mm is the logical next-step in the progression. I wish Smith would manufacture these fine guns again.

Please don't support a company like S&W.
It is bad for the whole industry.

I think he's referring to Smith's capitulation to the Clinton White House, back when Bangor Punta owned the company in the 90's. Since then, the company is wholly American-owned and Smith's corporate board no longer honors, any previous arrangements, regarding any type of 'voluntary' gun control. Many people boycotted S&W during this debacle, and rightly so. But I don't believe this holds water after 15 years of solid American control, and a solid adherence to the 2A spirit.

Does that spirit include that stupid frame mounted lockout?

Unfortunately, yes. These ruin the 'look' of the guns; and are mostly redundant, since all the revolvers incorporate 'transfer-bar' safeties anyway. I removed mine, and purchased a plug. If anything, this is a consequence of ever-growing lawsuits, and multi million-dollar settlements. If anyone is at fault, it would probably land with S&W's corporate counsel. As you know, the Chairman and corporate officers act on their input.

Actually its a consequence of them being purchased by Safe T Hammer.
