Costco was/is running a special for a two pack; 1 each (.50 cal and .30 cal) cans for less than $20. I have picked up several sets for magazines, ammo and gun related hardware. Great quality.

After the election the gun show here had a bunch of booths with them going for $7 a piece for the 30 cal, and $8-9 for the 50 cal.

For a .50 CAL sized ammo can, $10 is a pretty good price. I have a few USGI .50 CAL cans and one of them is from WWII.

I have really come to like the MTM ammo storage cans over the last year. I have about 2 cabinets full of them in different sizes. Several advantages over USGI issues cans but they are a bit more pricey.

There is a Tractor Supply one exit down from my jobsite. I will have to check these out if I remember.

I have a bunch of the Horrible Fright ammo cans. They are knock-offs of the Plano 30 cal can. For the $5 price they are a good deal IMHO.

I checked them out yesterday and bought a 30 cal size. You have to sift thru them and find one that opens and closes well and the gasket contacts. The 50m cal ones seemed like they werent made that well. I didnt look thru to many of them, I have a couple of USGI ones but the 30 cal will be good for ammo storage.

There is a TSC about 20 miles from here. I'll have to stop by and pick up a couple. I can always use a good ammo can.
