I talked to Chris Hodgdon about the new powders and besides CFE BLK they are knockoffs of alliant powders.

Green, blue and red knocking off the alliant dot powders.

Unequal for Unique and target for bullseye.

Supposed to be volume compatible with the dot powders and by weight for the other 2.

Should be a good thing. Alliant sucks for availability.

I came very close to buying a bottle of that BLK CFE on Tuesday. They had one bottle on the shelf. I did not see any other "new" powders while there.

You will probably start to see them in March or April.

Where I'm at sometimes I can get alliant easier than hodgdon...but sometimes it's the other way around. 2400 has been pretty iffy for a few years...but I don't think hodgdon is making a wannabe 2400 are they?  It has a lot of strong points that H110 does not have.

And I bought that lonely looking bottle of CFE BLK today. It's also good for 7.62x39.
