AP tweets out the question "If North Korea sent missiles toward Guam or the US, could the US missile defense system shoot them down? Should it?"

Really? Should we?

And we wonder why liberals are such freaking morons.

Although, if it is headed to San Francisco, I might kind of understand letting it continue on to impact.

And if it is headed to LA but isn't quite going to make it figuring out a way to get it those last few miles.

Liberals are backing North Korea and attacking Trump.

They would rather see Guam a glowing crust of a island than Trump right.

They would rather see multiple north korean missile impacts in America, hundreds of thousands of dead Americans than admit Trump was right.

The crazy fat kid sends any missile outside of it's borders and we take it out you can bet your ass we will hear the liberals say "it was just another test that wasn't aimed at anyone and now you went and started a fight".

In addition to shooting the missiles down, we should level North Korea.

This is like the cop who waits to shoot the bad guy until after the bad guy kills the hostage, like they do on TV..

Are we going to wait until the little bugger succeeds in delivering a nuke ?

If this is not the most profound example of Trump derangement syndrome, I don't know what is.

When they went apoplectic after Trump's tough words, we found they were about exactly the same as what Truman delivered decades ago.

These nevertrumpers and their efforts to bring down this government

need to be treated as the clear and present danger they are to this Republic.

To denounce defending ourselves against nuclear attack by NK borders on treason.

This,
After he sent out the message that he would bring "fire and fury like the world has never seen" and we are "locked and loaded" every wing nut on the left started screaming. All I kept hearing was Trump is going to launch a Nuclear missile. Even the bigger news outlets were adding words that were never said as a quote. The "fire and fury" statement could only mean one thing, a Nuke. That we have nukes "locked and loaded" and how we must stop Trump from launching them.
They just make up shat as they please. If a written article is false it really doesn't matter, no fact checking required. All the writer has to say is it will upset Trump or make him look bad and the Editor will sign off, that is all that's needed to publish it.

If he wanted to cause maximum chaos, he'd launch during the eclipse. Everyone will be looking skyward plus millions will be packed into a narrow strip of land. Maybe that's what the muckity mucks are thinking, hence the growing number of pre-eclipse disaster declarations.

(I don't think he can put a warhead on CONUS, so it's 0.001% probability)

No, we should not shoot it down. We should destroy it on the launchpad! And everything within a 50 mile radius. Message sent.

Problem is there's no fixed launch pad. We had trouble finding and destroying SCUDs in Iraq, which although 3-4 times larger than NK, has far less geographical nooks and crannies:

https://mapfight.app...size-comparison

If estimates of ~200 launchers are correct, and 15-60 nukes, it's nearly impossible to get them all before he can launch some.

Reference articles (caveat emptor as always)

http://heavy.com/new...arheads-number/

http://abcnews.go.co...ory?id=45971921

Pretty likely he has nukes buried along the DMZ and possibly a couple in subs as suicide bombs.

China is the real enemy here, as NK has been their proxy to poke the west. They have made it clear with their "no attack until he fires first" stance. We should have nuked them in 1950.

No simple solutions, other than for an accident to befall KJU.

Don't fool yourself, there are units in place in Korea that scud hunt...shat goes sideways those launchers are toast....

Just like how the rumor and perception is that if shat goes south Seoul is gone, not so, not at all, less than 1/4 of it will be destroyed if that much.

Seoul is safe, the main targets are going to be bases that can launch aircraft and attack NK and the US/SK forces rockets & arty. They have to take out the weapons that will kill them as well as supporting the NK attacking forces...you can't attack without arty, or if you do, your dead.

We know where the NK hardened arty position sare, that's great as one (1) B1B can carry 80 JDAM's and they are all independently targeted, so that's 80 hardened arty or ammo or support structures destroyed by 1 aircraft....

Um, Seoul ain't safe. Population center, financial center, ROK / USFK, Combined Forces HQs, KCIA, etc. They have plenty of artillery in the broadest sense of the word to go around those a sizable amount of it is likely non-functional.  Seoul is target #1. I don't believe he'll do squat until he has exited the country.
