For some girls it shoes, others it's purses...But for me if it's loud and kills things at long distances then it's just a matter of deciding what color I want it in. A fashionable camo or an elegant black!

Just start another topic exactly the same, with all the same posts as the last.

And pray the mods don't notice this time!

Look at the red.....see what they say in red....

Ignore 30-45% of what is in red.....and never argue, or they will spank you....

Start new topic, close but not to close....35-45% as close......

Twist it a little, not lots....but enough to cover your assets and make it look like it's different even if the same.......

Serious answer: if there is something that needs to be added to a locked conversation, or there is a good reason for it to be unlocked, private correspondence with an appropriate mod is the the most sensible way to approach the matter.

What he said. Follow the chain of command, ask about why it was locked, and if there's a chance of re-opening it. If they say it's not happening, move on. There are sometimes some moving pieces behind the scenes that the general public doesn't get to see, which is why there sometimes isn't a clear cut reason that's immediately obvious.

If you disagree with the mod/staff member, you can always bump it up the chain of command, and ask myself or one of the senior staffers to look into it. It probably won't change that topic's status, but it may help shape the way we deal with similar issues in the future.

I'm thinking something along the lines of a fake reply button, that would allow stakeholders to feel they are sharing their input, when in reality, as with "congressional feedback forms", the content is ignored and vaporized.
