With screws on the side to hold the lower. I think you could scratch it up.

And for the life of me I can't think of when I'd actually have a need for it.

If it were a necessary tool then there would already be others out there making something like it.


It reminds me of a new design fishing lure that's more attractive to fishermen than fish.

Yep, it looks pretty neat.  I cant think of a reason to own one tho with a good mag style block.The scratching of the tube would be a concern and I wouldnt do and heavy work on the receiver with all the stress put on the receiver threads. IT may be handy for one situation in a hundred.
