about six months ago, I came across a new style of red dot magnifier in a magazine I think. Instead of being seated behind the red dot, and therefore closer to your eye, it was for mounting in front of the red dot and away from your eye. It was just a disk-like design that supposedly was very durable and did not effect zero. It was very small and took up very little space on the rifle. i have done numerous searches for this online and come up with nothing. It may still be in the design phase or maybe it didn't pass inspections and durability tests. Does anyone know what i am talking about?

Sounds interesting. If you find it, post a link. Do you remeber what magazine you saw it in? Go to that mags website maybe?

I searched for an intense hour yesterday and not even a sniff. The magazine by chance wasn't a 1 April edition was it?
