Seriously....

I can hit PSA and get a complete upper assembly WITH BCG for $200.

Or I can hit any of a handful of sites and get a 16in M4 barrel for $60-$80.

BUT.....

Look for an A2 profile, 5.56 chambered 20in barrel with rifle length gas system and notches cut for the standard FSB pins.... forget it!  $200 + for the barrel alone....

What the crap Kevin!!!!

Ahem... anyone have a good source for that which I seek?  Either with or without the FSB/delta ring.

PSA is the way to go. Bear in mind, they are not chrome-lined barrels. Other than them, I can recommend a barrel assembly from Windham Weaponry that will run you $215 plus shipping. They are excellent barrels and very accurate. I have three of these in use.

They also have a complete barrel kit for $270.

This 20" barrel is well worth the extra money.  The complete assembly for $270 is a great price.  Chrome lined and as Tack said, "Very accurate".  Extremely happy with my A2 clone build.

You might think $270 is a bit expensive but if you are doing a clone everything is included.  Your time searching out each piece and then getting questionable quality parts is not worth the few bucks you might save.

I see some 20" HBAR barrel assemblies on GunBroker for $170. The listing doesn't say who makes them. Maybe you can ask the seller?

Due to it being a 1/9 twist HBAR, it is possible that it could be Bushmaster or Del-Ton. It also states that it is NOT chrome-lined. Due to the fact that it is a HBAR, it is not an A2 profile barrel. It would need to have the gov't profile and 1/7 twist.
