Anybody putting together anything AR related today?

Had the stripped lower sitting here for some time.

Notice I had all the parts for a lower build...

So this happened.

Here is the rundown;

BCI Defense stripped lower.

CMMG Rifle Builders LPK.

RRA Varmint trigger kit, two stage, 3.5 lbs pull.

DPMS rifle extension tube and buffer.

Damage industries enhanced rifle spring.

Magpul MOE pistol grip and rifle stock, Foliage green.

Magpul enhanced trigger guard.

Have another 6.8 SPC barrel coming in hopefully next month.

Figure I would get things ready.

Thanks,

Glenn

Turning 5.56X45 mm brass into 6X45 mm brass one case at a time since April 2014.

6.8 SPC II, That's .270 Lite for those of us in the real world.

M1A Socom 16; Its bark blows minds, its bite is even worst!

30 Herrett AR; I know, 7.62X39 is cheaper... But I already had the 6.8 SPC brass and bolts.

Nothing to build but I am waiting on reloading equipment to make up tool heads in all my calibers for the 650.

Died, buried, rotted, caved in, back filled, paved over, and forgotten.

The only build I will have going is a La Rue rifle kit once I can round the funds up.

But as usual, that looks great. :thumb:

I do not burn bridges.
I just loosen the bolts a bit every day.

Keep shooting until your target changes shape or catches fire.

Thank you.

I really like the Magpul Moe rifle stocks.

They are inbetween an A1 and A2 rifle stock length. Magpul does make an extended butt plate that puts the length just a hair over an A2 rifle stock.

One thing I like is they designed these to attach directly to the rifle buffer tube, no A2 stock bushing needed.

Most of my AR's have these stocks on them.

Unfortunately, Magpul dropped the Foliage green color from their line up. But they do have O.D. green, which I like.

Thanks,

Glenn

Normally I'm all black and at times a FDE catches my eye. My veins bleed OD green and desert tan. But that foliage green is definitely sharp.

Don't know enough about the AR-10's to give advice.

Which ever one you choose, it should be an interesting project.

Let us know how things turn out.

Thanks,

Glenn

The word "last" can be very subjective and open to interpretation. It can have finality such as "No ifs, ands, or buts ,this is my last build." Or in a more open-minded way,it can be interpreted in a broader, perhaps enlightened sense. For example, it could be considered an open ending statement which may conclude with "until my next one".

In closing I can honestly say, to the best of my recollection, that statement was an accurate feeling of mine when and as written.

Thanks,

Glenn
