Guys, hlhneast (Steve) needs some prayers. He is dealing with some health issues that are on the serious side. He is having surgery next week and I am asking for prayers that the surgery goes well and that it helps to correct what is happening. He is not able to work right now, so he is also under a financial strain. I can relate to this kind of situation myself. Through prayers and support of others, I made it through and I pray that Steve will as well.

The liberties of our country, the freedoms of our civil Constitution are worth defending at all hazards; it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors. They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring a mark of everlasting infamy on the present generation enlightened as it is if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or to be cheated out of them by the artifices of designing men.

6.8 SPC II, That's .270 Lite for those of us in the real world.

M1A Socom 16; Its bark blows minds, its bite is even worst!

30 Herrett AR; I know, 7.62X39 is cheaper... But I already had the 6.8 SPC brass and bolts.

Thanks much to all with your thoughts and prayers.  It means a lot to me I have this big extended family wishing me well.  On Tuesday I am scheduled for an angiogram and most likely I will end up with stents in my legs to restore blood flow.  I will be losing at least two toes and the other three are in jeopardy.  This whole ordeal has taken way too long and it seems I am being referred to Doctors without the right specialty or out of order and tell me I need to do something before they do anything but dont hesitate to get my copay in the process,  I can tell you I am tired of the pain I have been enduring for at least 6 weeks.

The family Doctor (DO) I had to see has kept the hope that it would heal by itself and with surgery to restore the blood flow even faster.  I depend on him to lead me in the right direction and provide referrals to the proper specialists.  I guess the main thing is none of the referrals seems to be addressing my toes but are doing the big picture.  Friday I learned that Tuesday's Dr is a cardiac surgeon, not a vascular surgeon which is really who I need.  The issue seems to be in the blood flow in my right foot and the arteries are very small, too small to stent really so they will need bypassing.  The Cardiac guy may try and stent it where a true vascular guy wouldnt.  I dont know if this guy has ever done lower leg bypasses or if he is just a heart specialist.

Every Doctor I have seen so far is new to me right down to the Family DO.  My regular GP, who I like and trust, has cut back to half days and his appointments are 8 and 10 weeks out.  He in the last year moved into an office with 3-4 other Doctors and the Group loaded him up.  Ive been with the Doc for 7-8 years now and not having him lead the "team" is unsettling.

My brother is a personal trainer in Mandeville LA and knows some good Doctors.  He has done a bunch of investigating vascular surgeons and it truthfully sounds like I might receive better care in LA.  I know if I do go and stay with him and his wife they will look after me where I am pretty much on my own here in JAX.  Speed is the main thing, if I go over there I need to be in the operating room ASAP.  Ive just about talked myself into it but dreading the amount of pain I will endure along 10hr ride.  If I didnt have cruise it would be impossible because even with short trips to the Doctors and errands I am good for about1-15 minutes before the bastige with a knife sneaks in and starts stabbing me in the foot.

Being generally healthy all my life I have this distrust in Doctors and i really have to be in bad shape to go. I may not be in as good shape as my PT brother but recent blood work has no bad indicators. No diabetes, cholesterol not super but again not bad for someone who doesnt try and be healthy.  No high white cell count indicating cancers.  I am hoping for the best with all of this and while I may end up walking funnier than i do already, I should be better off after I heal up.

Thats the run down.  I thank James and all of you fellers for your thoughts.  I will post an update after surgery.

We’ll be praying for the best care and quick recovery for you Steve, wether it’s in Florida or Louisiana.
