I got an email from a friend today, that included this picture of a new Dewalt Nail Gun:

Claimed it could drive a 6-D nail thru a 2 X 4 at 200 yards... :thumb:

:CONFUS12:

He was a popular person on another board I frequent, before he passed away.

He had the Hun farm, (which I have never been too) but several here have.

It may not be his rifle, but it sure reminds me of his Dewalt rifle.

Spirits living on at any rate.

I stand corrected, his had a Cav-MkI lower. Cav-Arms does the furniture for the one above too.

Here he is, I sure wish I had got to meet the guy in person, he was a great person to talk to online.

He had his first I bet.... :smartass:

did i mention *long story?* and i dont even know but the half of it....or quarter, or eighth....

but SOMEONE, whether his ass is banned from here or not, should rot in hell. :bill:

ETA: Original Poster, you had no clue, so no flame is directed towards you at all.

Edited again, i see it's a differnt rifle, so PISS mode is off.

Sad to hear he passed away! I'll bet he was a good guy, judging by the picture, he had a sense of humor that most of use share!
I was feeling a little bad and meant no disrespect!

Oh, don't feel bad. I wasn't trying to make you feel bad.

I do not know the history of the particular rifle you posted, but I would be willing to bet Eric The Hun was it's inspiration.

Going off of what racer said, maybe the guy doesn't deserve and compliments.

Doesn't bother me, and I don't think anyone else would mind. Besides, it's a different rifle.

I like remembering the guy,

I know a few here have probably met him,

Yes he was the first. We made that for him several years ago and gave it to him at the farm.
A small offer of gratitude for being our great friend and the years he let us all come to his farm for countless shooting "parties".
There were originally 12 of us who would go out to his place.
That exploded to 300 at one time.
He is greatly missed by all of us.
RIP Wayne.

No disrespect taken. No way anyone would really know the real story until you are told about it.
I still think its a cool idea for a rifle for anyone to have.

My first post is pretty much the story.
We were all a group of friends in the DFW area.
The DFW crew at arfcom.
We just wanted to do something nice for Wayne and all got together and chipped in
and built the rifle. DPeacher from Austin pitched in on this.

My first thought that it was a picture of ETH rifle. It is a little different.
