Have you seen any of these?

One is an actual stock to put on your AR and the action of you holding the forearm and pulling back causes auto fire.

The second one I saw is a simple gadget that connects to the trigger guard and doesn't require you to have to hold the forearm.

I wish I could remember the names of them but I can't.

Hmm, Interesting. New to me, have you been able to find them online anywhere?

Good thing I didn't buy one. They were selling for $45 for what looked like $2 worth of metal. Fuzz that!

I have a couple of the original Hellfires. One for the AR and One for an SKS still in original packages and never been installed. I bought them a long time ago and there was an ATF push against them but it turned out in our favor for once.

I actually have a couple M16's and only take them out to let someone who has never shot FA shoot them, I really enjoy watching the look on their face when half a dozen rounds go down range when they pull the trigger. It's also a great way to show new firearms owners that there is nothing evil about full autos. It's my belief that if we can get more gun owners to understand that full auto isn't something to be afraid of we might be able to get the MG ban of '86 reversed one day.

please do not call bump firing full auto. It isn't and it doesn't turn your gun into full auto since the trigger still gets pulled before each shot.

Every time one of us misspeaks about a "full auto" AR, the gun grabbers have more ammo for themselves.

Waste of money.

Use a rubber band (ar15). Does the same thing. Wrap one end of the rubber band around the trigger then take it around the mag well and back on to the trigger. This keeps more tension are the trigger. OR you can put in an extra trigger return spring. But the rubber band works better.

The lighter the weapon, more recoiling, the lighter break in trigger pull, the easier it is to bump fire. You don't need anything to bumpfire a nice light weight AR or AK. (AKs are easier to bumpfire but much harder to control)

My Cav MKII AR is a bumpfiring dream because it's soooo light.

The ATF put a royal screw to Bill Akins and Tom Bowers... and to everyone who bought one of the coolest bump fire devices ever.

The ATF gave them a ruling that a stock like this for the Mini-14 was not a nachinegun.

Then, Akins and Bowers (both great guys) developed the "Akins Accelerator" which was a stock for the 10/22 that allowed the whole gun to reciprocate in the stock, simulating full auto fire.

A few months after they started selling, the ATF changed their mind, ruled it a machinegun conversion device and confiscated them all.

That Akins stock would have been awesome. I bet everyone on this board would have one had the ATF not reversed it's desicion.

No Rubber Bands needed!
I personally think this is a way better option than a crappy trigger or a rubber band. And it's BATF approved (for now).
