The Space X and Tesla CEO also changed his bio, which now simply states "Chief Twit," and has his location set at Twitter HQ."

  2. I run a 13" BCM MCMR handguard on my 14.7" HD rifle - I certainly wouldn't go shorter than 13 on a 16" gun!

  3. Just saying, Pay Pal was one of the first companies I put on boycott and stopped doing business with years ago when they went Anti-gun. It started the whole be careful who I do business with for me. I especially won't do business with a company that can dictate to me how I spend my money. Its MY Money.

  4. Concerned, yes, but NY and CA really need to clean their own house. The residents simply do not get the message, it is not up to the residents of other states or federal government to save you from your own state, it is up to you to save yourself or drown in the septic tank you live in or have helped to create. Hard, yes, necessary, yes.

  5. And children who "interact" with men who have sex with other men. They sure buried the whole thing when it started coming out that kids were being boned by gay men and being infected with monkey pox. Can't let that get out before minor attracted persons are "destygmatized" and made legal.

  6. Democrats: Suicide should be assisted by the medical community for anyone who feels they would be better off dead. Also democrats: If someone has guns and is a danger to themselves, we should take their guns so they cannot commit suicide, that needs to be handled by medical professionals, the same medical professionals who have talked patients into taking an experimental vaccine with clear indications that it is harmful to virtually everyone taking it. And yes, the same medical professionals who frame hysterectomies for 14 year old girls and castration for 14 year old boys who think they are the opposite sex and life would be better if they were neutered. Democrats: If a person is possibly dangerous to others then we need to take away their guns. Republicans and Libertarians: People own guns in order to be dangerous to others, that was the whole point to the Second Amendment, to put the power of the People beyond the government's reach and to insure that in times of need, the People wouldn't be powerless against a foreign force or even the forces of their own government. People are dangerous, that is why we have criminals but my plan is to be more of a danger to the criminal than he can be to me. If someone breaks into my house, my first action will not to be call 911 in hopes the police show up in time to draw a chalk outline around my body. My first action will be to neutralize the criminal and only then will I call 911 so the police can show up to draw the chalk outline around his body. At that point they can take as long as they need to arrive, I really don't care at that point. Come by at noon the following day for all I care. Just don't let it go for so long the body really starts to stink. I have to live here ya know. The whole point of having a gun is to be dangerous and anyone who is not potentially dangerous can expect to become a crime statistic. If you wish to deprive criminals of guns, lock them up in a big brick building surrounded by concertina wire otherwise they will get a gun and constitute a danger to the People.

  9. Yesterday 12/26/22 saw the end of an Era, the 1950s Rock and Roll Music headliner group ended in the demise of "Killer." Jerry Lee Lewis, he was the last of the 50s headliner group of entertainers, died at age 87. I was lucky to have seen hm live in concert in his mid 20s in 1957 at Connie Mack field in West Palm Beach. He was an unforgettable live performer. He was not so great in his personal life, but a memorable live performer. He was Jimmy Swagger's first cousin and grew up in the church singing gospel music. The moniker, "Killer", was because he closed the show. No ever one wanted to follow him onto a stage. Of all things, Jerry Lee was my 95 year old Grandmother's favorite gospel singer. Odd how things work in life, I heard him singing gospel first on an old battery powered RCA radio, we did not have electricity, went to see him perform Rock and Roll, never put the two people together until years later.

  10. And the scenarios are many at this point… Consider this: We have followed Gonzalo Lira on various media for about a year. He is a Chilean, married to a Ukrainian, grew up in California and now living in Ukraine. Zelenski’s has banned opposition parties and all media that questions his authority. Zelenski’s thugs once beat up Lira as he posts stuff that goes against the narrative…sound familiar? Lira sent his family safely out of Ukraine while he continues to report news from the hot zone inside Ukraine. And the Biden administration fully supports this tyranny to support our proxy war with Russia. If you can believe what he says, and if he believes the following is a legitimate threat, have a plan, or better yet, have two plans by yesterday. https://youtu.be/meBMKIe5d0M If what he says, happens, prepare for the western press to pillory the Russians and ramp up the war. Lira says this is the October surprise to win the election, but I think it’s more than that: the various world banks have created the current financial mess and they realize they can inflate their way out of the massive debt that made insiders rich off the backs of the working class. Covid was probably designed to crash everything and divert the blame, but it didn’t work. This is plan B. War has always been an historic choice to avoid economic problems. They want to deflect the public from ever realizing what they did. I hope the Russians have definitive proof, so they can reveal to the world what the west is trying to do. Let’s hope cooler heads prevail and stop this from escalating. We listen to a lot of geopolitical pundits, and several economic pundits, but so far I haven’t found one source that combines the two… I think that would truly explain what we’ve been out through and what we are facing going forwards.

  11. I can go either way on shorter versus "full length" handguards. With the AR's unique design, it sure is nice for a good purchase, protection for the barrel, and a place to hang all the goodies the Military carries on the rifle these days, even though I lost my 20,000 dollar NV goggles. A few years back some celebrity AR Trainer said 13" was the way to go, so of course I had to believe him. Some company even made special versions of "his" rifle with 13 inch handguards so you could set it up exactly like he did. OOOOH. Gave me goosebumps. Seriously, 13 does work fo me, but a bit extra sure does not hurt. Since my body is decomposing my next AR will be a superlight...

  13. I've fallen in love with Inforce WML & WMLx lights - low to the rail & easy to thumb manipulate - even moreso than clickies, I think - & their cs is unbeatable. I bought one used off another board that had a short in it - mailed it back to the company on their dime - & they sent me a spankin' new one in the box! I run 'em on all my cqb rifles!

  14. Simply, if are planning on a bipod, 15" is the way to go. It gives you a lot more real estate than the 12". If you are not planning on running a bipod, you can use a 12"-13". The 12"-13"handguards are very versatile. That said, Here is one I have with a 15" handguard. It will give you some idea. Here is a 12" Daniel Defense with a 14.5" barrel. It allows for more space to position a support hand.

  15. If you're planning on putting a light up front at some point, the 13" rail may balance out better. Now if you were shooting open sights, the longer 15" rail could help with precision. I only have three 16" barreled AR's... Seems they all have 15" rails on them at this time. They all are wearing open sights too. My 18" barreled AR's have a mix of 13" or 15". Seems all the 13" are scoped. Hope that helps. Thanks, Glenn

  20. That’s tough. People complained about “white flight” a generation ago… but many of those who didn’t sell, are stuck with nice, but worthless, houses and businesses. They really should talk to a realtor before they decide it’s worthless. Try a local realtor, and more than one, since some are really only after high-end sales (but they can’t really admit it).

  23. Based on prior acts in multiple atates, this is just a variation on a theme from the Dim Wit play book. What is absolutely fact is this must come directly from the Clinton Family and Biden Family biographies, with the names changed to protect the guilty Clintons and Bidens. Think about it, these pillars of crime in politics have been debauching their way through American society for over 50 years.

  26. The A2 grip really is junk. I can't stand that little finger nub thing. I do have the MAGPUL OVERMOLDED GRIP on my Aero build and it IS really nice. I have the MOE K2+ with the steeper angle on my AR pistol. HAHA! I don't wanna talk about that part. Though the holidays are coming and last year I got some flat down giveaway deals. I don't have the experience or knowledge of alot of folks here, but mine has been great. I have the non-pro version with the logo. I've heard almost exclusively great things about Toolcraft BCGs though too. PSA has had them on sale for a song at times. Like 80 bucks. I am not exactly rolling in money myself so I make it a point to thoroughly research everything I buy. Mostly I look for trends. No matter what part or company it is, SOMEbody out there will be saying they had a horrible time with it and it's crap. When I see the same issue being reported at several sites by people who sound like they know what they're talkin about, I figure there's probably an actual problem there. You can also find guys who clearly don't know what they're doing having trouble of their own making with some product, but that's another story.

  27. Give you a little background. The neighborhood I grew up in is a classic movie "Grantorino". The city was once prosperous and then all the steel mills slowly died out and where once we had neighbors that were professionals, i had an architect across the street, its now HUD house after HUD house. Slowly but surely most of my family moved actually out of state, however one niece remained behind. She inherited the old house, a nice house btw, built by a doctor in the 30's, its a two story brick built like a fort but now the nicest house in the whole neighborhood. Ny niece is a hell cat and doesn't let anyone run over her. She's in a hassle, verbal pissing contes, literally weekly. Both her and her husband have their CCW and carry all the time. A couple days ago, my niece and her husband here a commotion two doors down. A white guy is pounding on their neighbors door screaming "Help me. Let me in. They're trying to kill me". They went outside just in time to see three black guys start beating on the man and throw him down about 30 concrete steps. The attackers quickly ran away as they approached. The victim was rushed to the hospital and is now in intensive care with a major brain concussion and may not live. My nieces husband had started video taping the event as they made there way there, which he turned that over to the cops. Now they're wanting to move. They are concerned about retaliation. The problem is its a damn nice house but due to how the rest of the neighborhood, they wouldn't get enough out of it to even come close to buying another house. It wouldn't fetch enough to buy a decent used car. He's already working two jobs, hospital maintenance, and a small kydex holster company. Its five hours away from me and there's no way in hell I'd leave one of my vehicles on that street overnight. At my age, no way can I go all Marcus of Queenbury with a bunch of kids anymore and if pressed I'd have to take someone out. Questions? Is there anything you think I can do to have their back until this one blows over? What do you think they should do? Man, I don't miss those days. I haven't had to put up with this type BS but once in 30 years now. Tj
