    Bye Bye Gallbladder.... INPUT PLEASE

Had mine out a few months ago. They glued my incisions back together. Right after I came out of recovery I felt sleepy, but yet I couldn't go to sleep. I was kinda wired up. I think it must have been something they gave me during or after surgery. I was sore for the first couple of weeks, but not bad enough to really stop me from doing light work after about a week. Just be careful that you don't do any he I finally got really going with radio again while I was off of work, so mostly I've been absentee here because I've been keeping FT-8 and SSB on 20 meters hot.

    Monday again...

Forks are hard to see from the side like that. We have a dumbass that's working for us now that has been here since June, he's real bad about traveling with his forks up about two foot off the ground, and has left them up after parking the lift. For some reason he's also not been certified, and the boss hasn't made a push to make him get certified. Some real off stuff has been going on here the last few years.

    Deep Solar Minimum

I guess you don't know very many hams? Lol, there's plenty of global whining about dead bands! Funny, if the bands are dead, I don't know if my rig can handle it once the next solar maximum hits.

    Deep Solar Minimum

If I recall correctly the solar wind is what keeps the Van Allen belts and ionosphere charged up, less solar activity means more cosmic radiation can come through our "shields". It also affects radio propagation....darnit! I lack two countries from WAC on 20. I need to get my OCFD finished. Tired of being trapped on 20 in this minimum, but scared of getting anywhere near 75.

Something I heard on the repeater

I'm not sure a radio like a grundig will cut it for anything other than commercial shortwave. You need a communications receiver or a general coverage HF transceiver to be able to hear the good stuff

Would you buy more stripped lowers now?

I can't at this moment, but a good strategy now is to buy what it takes to build out the lowers you have, and mags and ammo. I'm beginning to think time is getting near to where we are either going to have to put up or shut up on anything with the Constitution, much less the second amendment. Too much of the government is boldly proclaiming the ways they want to violate the Constitution and it doesn't look good.

    Ow! It must be Monday...

I also vote for some of these wimmens stories. Just remember, PG....also, please fix that brake. I learned first hand (or more like left hand middle finger knuckle) that saws without brakes and guards will get you faster than you can blink.

    New Trade Stickie?

Was it one of those days that starts in tshirts and ends with you wearing every stitch of clothes you got and still freezing your cods off? We get that pretty often in what we call winter, though if you've done time down here you already know that. January and February seem to be the worst of it too....
  13. I like the acronym that goes with that. So, you enforce the proper use of hot air?

    Good Morning!

I missed this post. I am sitting here recovering from gallbladder removal. I made the error of mentioning a bit of pain under my ribs and the doc did ultrasound last week. They couldn't be sure whether they saw polyps or sludge so they decided I didn't need it anymore. Yay me!
  18. Wouldn't surprise me if one of my distant relatives was in there too. I have Ross in my bloodline. John Ross to be exact. I don't think it's THAT Ross family though.

    The Armory is in mourning.

My doc asked me yesterday why I was wanting to get Twinrix. It's a Hep A and B immunization. He mentioned that it's very rare for Hep A to be fatal unless there are underlying issues. And yet G and his wife both passed because of it. Oh, the moron also told me that the tingling in my hands and face along with randomly feeling sluggish is usually depression. He asked me how often I cry. I said only if you ran over my bike, otherwise you're barking up the wrong tree doc.

    Crenshaw email address

By the way, welcome to the Armory! I'm with you, sick and tired of being sold out because of the acts of a terrorist.

    Good Morning!

Well that stinks. Just two years ago it was 100 degrees outside not counting the heat index when I was mowing and it didn't even phase me. I guess it's time to find a riding mower. Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk

    Good Morning!

Good afternoon! Is there a class on turning 40 that I missed or is it just hot? I was mowing this morning at 11 and I got to feeling like I was gonna fall out in the yard and was seeing bright spots. I guess I got too hot, but that has NEVER happened to me like that before. I still feel weak.
