  1. Needs some clean up, but when the wife said, "oh that ones pretty," I knew I was taking it home. P229 combat.
  2. Yes, factory bronze cerakote. Can't wait to get some range time Tuesday. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. Cannot go wrong with canik. Tps9da bronze. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. Got myself a little treat today. 1980 made Speed-Six. Hadn't planned to buy anything, but when I saw it and they accepted my offer I couldn't help myself. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  5. Got the wife a new carry today. She's extremely happy after being mad at me initially for telling her while I thought the Taurus spectrum was nice and pretty, .380 didn't cut it for me when I can spend a little more and get 9mm. Enter the LC9s. In a very nice kind of slate blue. I like nearly everything about it, except the take up, but that can be modified or gotten used to and she likes it so far. Maybe get some shots down range tomorrow if the rain slacks. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  6. I ended up getting a 10 round .40sw mag in buying some others as part of the group. I notice the only real difference is there are 2 columns molded on both sides of the interior to make them single stack. Anyone modify these by dremeling out the little columns to allow double stack? That seems easier than selling and buying a standard capacity. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. I'm hoping to pick up a nice VTX1800 with 8500 miles on it. Going for $3500. It's a 2002, but lots of chrome upgrades, crash bar w highway pegs, newer kuriakyn grips, passenger back rest. In fact the only thing I'd add is floor boards. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. Can't see the poll but my 2000 ultra classic always leaked. Even after nearly $2000 worth of engine work and seal/ gasket replacement. Glad to be rid of it now. Hoping to get an Indian in the future. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. Harley is full of crap and using this as an excuse to make a move they already had lined up. What's worse is the fact that they cried and moaned to Regan in the 80s until he imposed tariffs on Japanese bikes. I'm glad I sold my Harley and I'll never own another after this daft move. https://mobile.nytimes.com/1983/04/02/business/us-raises-tariff-for-motorcycles.html Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. Now I'm wondering if I should go buy the other just to hold onto. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

  12. It is the Group Industries. I didn't know they were rareish. I mostly just thought $50 might be a good deal for a fun project. That is if the welding isn't too difficult. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. Went to a pawn shop a couple weeks ago and the guy had two Uzi blanks. I sat on it for a while and asked the wife to drop by and see if he still had them so I could go by the next day for one. She surprised me and bought one. So any of you ever build one? Buddy at work has and he said except for minor welding it's easier than an ak build. And he builds lots of ak's. I'm thinking of building it in 10mm. Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm looking at this kit atm: https://www.robertrtg.com/store/pc/DELUXE-UZI-SMG-PARTS-KIT-WOOD-STOCK-161p85.htm Then of course needing to get the 10mm specific things. 14. I've probably posted this one already. But I really love the receiver. About to finish up the wife's matching receiver in .300blk. Took forever to find her a free float that she liked. But when she opened to box she teared up like it was a diamond ring. She loves rose gold/ bronze colors. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
