  1. The Burris definitely fits the bill but, the option for a QD mount might be worth waiting awhile longer. Thank you, all, for the input. It definitely helps! Cheers!
  2. I've got a 3-9X40 mounted on a Bushmaster O.R.C. using the 1/2" risers that were included. I'm looking for a better mounting option that would give me the correct position and eye relief. So far, the best option I have found is LaRue Tactical's LT-104 but, I just can't afford that right now. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks for the help, Jim

    Flash-Hider

Thanks for the info and quick replies! Now... the hard part. Which one!?! I'm strongly leaning towards the FSC556 myself. Cheers!

    Flash-Hider

I have a Bushmaster O.R.C. that I've owned for about a a year. I'm looking into customizing it a bit and came to the factory bird-cage flash hider. Does anyone know if it requires a gunsmith's expertise to swap it out? Thanks for your input, Jim

    bushmaster vs. dpms

I've had my Bushy for over a year now without any issues. It's always fed and fired just fine!

Why no love for iron sights?

There's something about iron sights that I just love but, my eyes just don't keep up.

    Compasses anyone?

I've got 2 GPSr's but always have a compass available. And, if the SHTF, the military scrambles civilian GPS reception. IMHO, a compass (and knowing the declination for your area) is the only way to go when the going gets rough!
  9. +1 to that! I knew a guy who lost 60% of his vision in one eye after a failure during a draw. You'll catch up with her next year.
  10. It's a shame it's not true. I think we should start with Maine and keep going SW.

    Welcome To AR15Armory.com

New to the site from SE PA. I've owned an AR for about a year and am looking forward to learning more!
  12. I've done the same but, I've been rotating mags about every three months. (Mostly to rotate the ammo stock.)
