  1. I did a couple of searches to try and find out which lower to go with for an SBR build, but still don't know what to do. Does anybody have any recommendations? Also, how about the BCG, trigger parts kit etc. Sorry for the rookie questions, I'm new to all of the specialty market. Thanks for your help and patience, Chris
  2. I should be good with having the forms signed by a CLEO. You are right, the Blue anchor states do things backwards. Especially the one I live near. They let the bad guys go, and keep the law abiding citizens from living free.
  3. Wow. Didn't know it was that involved. Do you know if the venders on the forum will do the engraving? I think I will just have the lower engraved.
  4. Thanks guys for the quick replies. Your answers certainly simplified things . So, the start of things is to buy the lower. Any recommendations on what lower? Can't wait to start this build. Moderators, please move this thread to the appropriate section if if needed. Thanks again guys,
  5. Okay, let me see if I can ask the right questions. I live in Pennsylvannia, and I want to build my own SBR, but not sure how to go about doing this from filing the right paperwork, and when to file it, to which parts to buy. As far as filing the paperwork, do I have to send the forms in prior to purchasing the lower? Or do I have to purchase the lower , get the serial # then send in the paperwork? I'm not sure how this all works. I did the search function, and am still confused on all of this. As far as what parts to buy, what are the best and which ones to buy? Upper, lower, BCG, etc. The barrel I'm going to go with for sure is the BHW 10.5". Oh, can I buy the barrel before filing the forms? Sorry for the rookie questions, I just want to get this right. Thanks for all the help, Chris
  6. Heya G10, PM sent. Thanks for your help, Chris
  7. Hope all works out for 10mmman. Valkryie1911, thanks for the post and help.
  8. Yeah, money sure gets tight; especially when the wife is on maternity leave.
  9. I was wondering the same thing myself. Just want to make sure I'm on the list.
  10. I would love to buy the gun, especially at that price, but just had a baby and the wife is on maternity leave. I'm sure it will be scooped up real fast.
  11. Yeah. A few bench clearings during the season is always good.
  12. I agree with you; the officers do have a job to do. However, I'm just saying, they are not looking for things like that like they would be if they were working. Again, agreeing with you, while at the range, there is no need to use higher capacity mags if you are just plinking.
  13. I handled both the other day as well. The ACR just didn't do it for me. The SCAR was way nicer in all aspects. The price also made it more acceptable also. The local gun store had it for 2100 and change.
