I've had one for about three weeks. I just did a crudely rigged but careful measurement using cord and small barbell weights. Should be accurate within a quarter of a pound. I got 9-1/4 pounds, as measured at the inside of the cusp radius, where the finger applies pressure. So yes, the trigger is heavy and has a long pull. Makes good trigger control difficult using one hand. With two hands I have no trouble putting all seven shots in the 3" bulls eye at 25 feet, and I'm not a great shooter. I wouldn't choose it for competition target shooting, but for defense or shooting for fun it's fine. They only allow lead bullets at my club, and the LC9 feeds Ultramax LRNs just fine.
