  1. Can anyone please tell me where I can get a 9x25 barrel for my 1911 10mm (DW Razorback)????? I've lost sleep looking online for a manufacturer that makes these. All I can find are Glock barrels and talk of some Australian company Lissner & another company named Holland precision barrels. Another post mentioned Briley making these, but their website only had 9mm conversion barrels. ANOTHER post said it's possible to bore out a 9mm barrel to fit the 9x25 cartridge. All this talk about 1911 9x25 and not one post in any of these forums say "click here" or "go there!" If anyone knows where to get one or obtain the proper supplies and have them sent in to be modified to detailed specifications, including WHERE to send them in to have this barrel properly constructed, please spill the beans. I'm close to paying money just to receive this freakin info! SHHiTT!
  2. Thanks for the info; it's good to know my hammer will more than likely not break off and hit me in the face. Now I'm just worried about the plastic Wilson followers I ordered for my mags; I dunno how strong their springs are, either. I'm thinking they'll be stiffer than the DW factory mag springs. We'll see how it goes...
  3. Yeah, I dunno why DT cut back on their loads, but Buffalo Bore seems to stay pretty consistent with their specs. Anyway, after reading a bunch of other postings from various forums, I actually went the opposite way from the 24# spring. I'm downgrading the 20# factory spring to a Wolff 18.5# spring, upping the mainspring from the 19#? to a 23# Wolff, swapping the pin stop with an EGW flat-bottomed pin stop, putting in an EGW shock buffer, and changing the factory mag followers out w/ Wilson polymer mag followers. Now I just hope the hammer doesn't break, because i'm adding 4 #s, plus whatever extra resistance the flat pin stop puts on it!
  4. I want my RZ-10 to handle these Buffalo Bore rounds, but instead of upgrading w/ the combo of a 22# spring and an EGW flat firing pin, I just want to put a 24# spring in it and call it a day. I hear that w/ heavy loads, too light of a recoil spring will open the chamber too soon, limiting the round's full potential. -Can anyone offer advice on my shortcut idea? If my 24# shortcut doesn't seem to suffice, can anyone offer better suggestions to modify my RZ-10 to handle both heavy loads & factory loads? -Also, how far should I file back the extractor pin, and at what angle? And last but not least, when will these manufacturers like Wolfe make a 9x25 Conversion Barrel for the RZ-10????

Why can't I skip the EGW and just get a 24# recoil spring?
