What do you do at night at camp?
Srgt. Hulka replied to Potbellied Yeti's topic in Hiking and Camping
Thanks Legs. I appreciate it. No place in particular yet. I haven’t done enough research on Utah to know where to go. I was supposed to go to Northern Nevada to go opal mining this spring. Not sure if that’s gonna happen with covid and everything else. May try to go to Quartzsite next January. I hope that happens too. But Utah would take a little research before I’d go. Find some good public lands, or better yet, some good private lands. It’s now a felony to pick up dinosaur bone on public lands. I’m gonna start putting out feelers on facebook on good places to go. People don’t give up that information very easily. 😄 -
Please stay safe Joel. don’t take any unnecessary risks. Us over here in NW Louisiana feel your pain. Sunday night and Monday, we had an inch of sleet, then 4-6 inches of snow on top of that. 2 degrees Monday night. Frikkin busted pipes and water mains all over town. Today we’ve had about 4” of sleet. It’s now changed over to freezing rain. All that snow and all that sleet is turning into 8” of ice. It’s a frikkin mess.

Talent on loan from God. I am truly saddened by this. I’ve listened to him since 1989. He was the reason for the huge conservative wave in the United States. He was a voice when we had none. I believe he is the reason Roger Ailes started Fox News. Thank you Rush, for the entertainment and the Voice of free America. Rest In Peace sir. You deserve it. You will truly be missed.

I collect really anything. From Utah, I love variscite, malachite, azurite, any of the copper minerals. Agates, opals, Dino bone, etc. Dino bone and variscite are two of my favorites. I hope one day to come to Utah and do some rock hounding. I better hurry soon, I’m pushing 60. I got my new cabbing machine in November. Here’s a little bit of my work. Owyhee Sodalite Maury Mountain Agate An unknown agate And Utah Dinosaur bone This is a slab I recently bought online. It’s Mexican flame agate. It’s not getting cut. It’s getting polished and put on the shelf. -

Legs, you should keep an eye out for some of those fine Utah rocks and minerals while you’re wandering around the wilderness, in case you see something I can’t live without. Can’t wait to see the fine photography you share with us. We always enjoy it. -

OK, you’re yanking our chain. This is really from the Bee, right? Right? Please tell me this is from Babylon Bee. -
What projectiles are you looking for? I see plated 9mm and .45 all the time. Xtreme has .223, although pricier than they used to be, but so is everybody.

We were at 2* this morning with 4-6” of snow on the ground here in Louisiana. It was down to 5* back in 83. That was the coldest I’ve ever seen it here, until this morning. Wave 2 comes in tonight. More freezing rain than snow. It’s gonna be rough the next 48 hours.

That’s not being an arsehole. That’s being a concerned neighbor. An arsehole would have let him take the tree down, take out the power lines, crush the truck, while sitting back laughing. Depending on which neighbor, yes, a particular neighbor comes to mind, that’s what I would have done. 😄

There's a hell of a lot of good rock hounding in that part of the world. I'd love to go spend a winter down there and just rock hound the wilderness. The largest (I think) Gem and Mineral show happens there each year, usually in February. Hundreds and hundreds (maybe thousands) of vendors come from all over the world and set up all over town. I would love to go. It has been postponed till April this year. Towtruck is right, it does get hot. I don't know about Tucson, but Phoenix had quite a number of days this summer that was over 120 degrees, and Tucson is right down the road. I saw someone shoo the pavement with a digital thermometer, and it was over 180 degrees.

confirmed CDC/Hospitals LIED about COVID 19 deaths
Srgt. Hulka replied to BushXM15's topic in General Talk
I've been saying that since last March. Of course they're lying. It's all about federal money. Every hospital gets thousands of federal dollars for every covid patient they have. The hospitals are getting filthy rich of these covid patients. In the last three months, I've designed two clinics and one homeless shelter paid 100% by federal covid money. The owners of the clinics will get rich owning clinics that the .gov paid for, and the federal money will continue to roll in. I t ' s a l l a b o u t m o n e y. -

But if your wife made a pop tart into the shape of a gun, they’d fire her ass in a New York second. Then they’d call the swat team to apprehend her, and escort her off in handcuffs. Schools have lost their minds these days.

I’d love to do something like that Taos. This working for a living is a pain in the arse. Good luck. I hope you find some great people to work with the kids. And thank you for helping to guide the next batch of deplorables. 😄

WTF?? Why is that MF still at school?!?! I’d have another serious discussion with the principal, Commie or not, and tell him that this is about to go on Facebook, to all the local news stations, newspapers, everywhere you can think of to post it, it will be there, along with his, the principal’s, name. freak that “safe area” BS!

Yep, you’ve been too busy working on your space laser. This was from yesterday. That powder was probably gone 30 minutes after I posted it. They did have lots of Hodgedon powder earlier today, but they are now showing all out of stock. And by the way, how’s the space laser project coming?
