  1. I have had a full size in .45 for about 2 yrs now and I really like it. Have an IWB holster for it and for my size, it conceals really well. Also the one I have is very accurate, altho the first mag wasn't quite as accurate, but the more I shot it the more I seen its potential. Once you half way get used to the trigger I think you will be ok. Ifn ya used to shootin a revolver you shouldn't have any problems with the P250.....shoot it and have fun.
  2. But, with the Creedmoor, ammo availability is something else, unless you reload it might not be your best bet tho.
  3. Got a friend that picked up a 6.5 Creedmoor, and he swears by it. I personally don't know that much about it. He got it in a Savage model 10 I believe. He says it will reach out there without all the recoil....
  4. Wow, very good read!!! I agree 1000%. Its really good to see that our troops are with us every step of the way. Well, atleast most of our troops are. I have a good friend that was an airborne ranger and if I can find where he posted on fb a letter he wrote to Biden, I will post it, what he thinks is.......far from what WE think.... Ok, I found it. Here it is. Mr. Biden, I am a supporter of you and the President's policies and a campaign contributor. I suppo...rt the executive actions taken by administration regarding gun violence studies. But, I believe an assault weapons ban is an ineffective action to prevent gun violence. More people are killed by bare hands in our nation every year than assault weapons. A ban on handguns would be a more rational solution. Also, as stated by George Mason in his selling of the Constitution and Bill of Rights to Virginia for ratification, it is pointed out that the purpose of militia and the amendment is to allow citizens to be prepared to defend our nation against insurrection and invasion. I do not subscribe to the lunacy that we have the right to take arms against our government, but that we have a duty to defend our nation if asked. Finally, since this was a clearly defined original right and responsibility, I believe that all citizens, including those frightened by current events have the responsibility of defending that right, even if it makes us uncomfortable. We must apply the same standard as the freedom of speech, press and religion, even when we don't approve. So, I would prefer the administration to take a more rational approach backed with data to limit the weapons that actually are the issue, and preserve the intent of the original right by keeping the appropriate arms with the people. Thank you,
  5. Wow, well at least they didn't lie to you all in their letters. They come right out and told you what a POS he is. Here is an email I got: Dear Mr. Dickson: Thank you for contacting me regarding the Second Amendment. As your voice in Washington, D.C., I appreciate hearing from you. The text of the Constitution clearly confers upon an individual the right to bear arms. Our Founders believed that the people's right to own firearms was an important check on the powers of the government and "necessary to the security of a free State."I couldn't agree more and I stand firm in my support of this right. The President's recent proposals on dealing with gun violence came in two very distinct parts: 1) executives actions that the President will be implementing unilaterally, and 2) making recommendations to Congress for laws that it should pass. Most of the planned executive orders are changes that are within the President's current powers to implement, namely: 1) Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign. 2) Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations. 3) Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime. 4) Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health. However, there is at least one order I cannot support. President Obama wants to clarify that Obamacaredoes not prohibit doctors from asking their patients about guns in their homes. Obamacare, however, states that no patient shallbe required to disclose his or her ownlawful storage or use of a firearm. This order could create confusion for a patient who believes he must answer his doctor's questions. I will adamantly oppose any executive order that I believe infringes upon duly enacted laws by the Congress or on our constitutional rights. I also disagree with the President is on his recommendations for laws Congress must pass. We know from experience that an assault weapons ban will have no meaningful effect on gun violence, as many of the changes that are implemented by such a ban are cosmetic in nature. Statistics demonstrate that a ban on particular weapons will not significantly decrease crime. Such a ban will, however, significantly decrease our rights guaranteed by the Constitution. Thank you again for your correspondence. Please feel free to contact me again in the future. Sincerely, James M. Inhofe United States Senator
  6. You might also check in to something used from an individual. I just bought a Remington 700 BDL 7mm rem mag with a Leupold VX III 3.5-10 x 50 with the flip up caps for $700. Just got lucky tho I suppose. Good luck on your hunt. Lookin forward to see what ya get.
