  1. My turn, Vudoo with 18 inch Barrel, topped with Midas tac, trigger by Triggertech, stock is McMillian A-5. The thread protector is a Dead Air Mask HD. Did a bit of ammo testing at 200 yards, all the better ones were at or under 1.5 inches. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Greg My friends at Vudoo will do left hand drive, and 17hmr, or 22wmr if you like. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. We’ll walk before we run. She has only had it for a couple of weeks, chances are she will get there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. She has, with her old Ruger American, actually both NRL22 and now 22 PRS matches. She has hit tournament targets out to 250 yards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks, it will do 1”groups at 100 yards with the center-x I had laying around. She wears out a 3” dia. Steel at 200 yards. We will start running different types of ammo next week to see what it will really do. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Picture of the wife’s Vudoo. Proof barrel, Timney trigger, topped off with Athlon Midas Tac and Dead Air Mask. Quite the tack driver. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. VERY much looking forward to a range report. I hope the battle with the lawn mower did not include flying blades. John No flying blades, nearly flying finger tips. My Doctor tells me that lawn mowers don't loose many fights, I think he is correct.
  8. Just picked it up this weekend. I lost a fight with a lawnmower so I will not be able to shoot it for a couple of weeks. Btw bring a few steaks for the dogs, they protect the safe. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. When they added the beaver tail, they lost the magazine safety. They also added a lost of beauty. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Have fun Win. Supreme match 140 gr. Hornady 143 ELDX & 147 ELDM Picked up a case of 140 ELDMs for $228.00 so I will work the bugs out of it with them until I have time to reload. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Not great yet, but I think it will work. These are factory 140 ELDM. These are the worst and the best of the 6 or so groups shot today.
  12. The tube is Primary Weapons Systems, the bi-pod is Accu-tac LR-10. I am sold on the Accu-tac, it is the only bi-pod I buy. Easy to adjust, sturdy, and looks great.
  13. It has a smallish rubber pad, but the recoil is really not bad, my .308 that weighs twice, kicks more. I can keep the target in the scope during the entire shot. It will get better, I can still dial down the gas a bit, I set it in the middle of the range at home, and left the wrench on the kitchen table.
  14. The red is rather eye catching. The whole thing is 8.6 lbs, with a 24 inch barrel and 16 inch fore end, not too bad for an AR-10.
  15. Hit ok before the build specs. 6.5 creedmoor, 24 inch proof barrel with +2 gas. JP LMOS bolt with high pressure end, Geissele Trigger, Lurh-ar stock..
  16. Finally got it to the range. Just 33 rounds but enough to know it will work. 3 types of ammo all 1" groups or smaller . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  17. Yep, Tim called last week, told me it would be another 2 weeks or so. If there stuff shoots as good as it looks, I should be in good shape. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. I need it to out shoot the RPR that the wife took from me. We will see, the F1 stuff will be about. 2 more weeks. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. I got plenty of parts, the upper, lower, and hand guard will be F1 BDR-10 3G in red.
  20. It is the journey, not the destination. I am still playing with my .308 Remington ( 2 years now). I have a 1/2ish MOA load, that I like, but I am still trying for THE load. The search for the HOLY GRAIL is a long, difficult one. Funny thing, I think I will be disappointed when I find it.
  21. The suppressor was the first thing after the rifle purchase, then a scope, rings, bi-pod, spare mags, bullets, lots of powder, and all that Advil for the sore shoulder, on a fixed income? I can wait a few more months.
  22. It is only money, you can make more. I am 2 months into waiting for a Harvester Big Bore. I figure I just put off retiring for a bit longer.
  23. It is a good price, I shoot 185s all the time. They don't beat up my alloy frame 3 incher and when mixed with 4.7 gr. of clays they don't spray powder in my face when running suppressed in my Glock.
  24. I am feeling' ya Newbe. My 110 BA in 338 LM is 80 rounds old, in 4 different range trips, but I could not swallow the cost of factory ammo, mine will never see any. Once you get over the $2.50 a round price for brass, or the 70ish rounds per pound of powder it is kinda fun to shoot......in moderation.
