  1. ... it has been a while since my last post. Still alive and well. Went back to school July 2017, been busy and has taken most of my fun times. I am currently working on my Dissertation Proposal and hoping for its successful defense before the end of the year. You all be safe and God bless! V/R Ed
  2. I took probably 2K of pictures; we landed late last night and as soon as I get them all sorted out, I'll do a sampler.
  3. Believe me that crossed my mind way too often; we subscribed to an automatic update from US embassies where we were traveling.
  4. ... the good ole US of A. My wife and I took a couple of weeks traveling in the EU. We enjoyed it very much but it is ALWAYS nice to be back home. Cheers!
  5. I was OK with all of it until you included "long range in the mix". As noted in my response #28, the .300 WM is my go to chambering. My last MT bull elk harvest was at 931 yards with 190 Berger VLD. Shot placement is still the key but sometimes Murphy gets on the way; it took my hunting buddy two passed through shot at lungs and needed a third shot at the front shoulder using 180 Barnes TTSX off his .300 WM at less than 100 yards before the elk finally expired. Every situation is different, both bullets used worked as advertised but the elk expired differently. I do however, agree that it boils down to personal preference. Cheers! 6. Please take no offense but long range shooting (targets) is not the same as long range hunting esp. on elk size game ... ... I'm a big 6.5/.264 fan but I will take my .300 WM or larger anytime when it comes to elk.
  7. I used my SKS with a bayonet hunting javelinas when I was stationed in AZ.
  8. I have the original one in 2012 and really like it >>> http://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=558719&SearchTerms=A,dull,knife,is,dangerous. They made improvements on KO version is a much better set-up.
  9. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family circle. http://www.catholic.org/prayers/prayer.php?p=229
  10. Not all sushi dishes are raw; I like sashimi ...
  11. I don't know the poundage but for $25 I can hit the target at 30 yards ...
  12. I too like the .308 caliber (.30C (7.62x33), 7.62x39,.30-30, .308 Win, .30-06, .300 WSM, .300 WM, and .30 LARA); the .300 WM remains my go to chambering for antelope to elk size game up to 1K yards.
  13. FEENIX

    Hey FEENIX

WOW, thank you kindly for the overwhelming birthday wishes. Cheers!
  14. I had a similar experience and went ahead and changed my router. My router is nearly 5 years old, still works but have noticed, it has slowed down significantly. I went with http://www.tp-link.us/products/details/Archer-C8.html (paid $49.99 for it) and it shows significant improvement.
