I have a Fenix TK 09 in an Arisaka offset mount and it's great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a dozen or so Hexmags, and all have done well so far. Also look into Amend2 mags. I have a couple dozen of them, and they have presented no issues either. They are decently priced as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a 5.56/.223 in the works. Aero Precision upper/lower, Aero BCG, ALG Defense LPK with QMS trigger, Anderson barrel, buffer kit and UPK. Odin Works low profile has block. Strike Industries Viper Mod 1 stock and SI charging handle. UTG Pro SS M lok 15" handguard. Hogue grip, Mako Group FAB flip up BUS and an Arisaka M Lok inline flashlight mount. Probably putting a Holosun HS403GL RDS. And I've got around +-50 30 rd mags and a few thousand rounds of ammo stocked up, and still adding more. Gonna have 2 ARs to feed.....[emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

10-4, yeah, shouldn't be a problem coming from those companies. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe you're on to something with the temperature theory, but this could also possibly be a shoddy Job of manufacturing. The keymod slots may not be built to spec. This is likely a fairly isolated incident. You do occasionally see complaints, there there are also a lot of folks very happy with the system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I ran 120 rounds through the 2 Amend2 mags I got this week, and they ran flawlessly in my Windham Weaponry. No wiggle, and drops cleanly from the mag well. For the $7.97/each that I paid, I think this may turn out to be a good buy, if the hold up and continue to perform as they did today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well, ran 180 rounds thru the 3 Hexmags, no hiccups at all. A couple of Amend2 mags ran with issues either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Has any one ever used Hexmag brand?

I will be running 3 Hexmags today. They look and feel like a quality mag. We shall see. I have shot one of these mags, and the first 10 or so rounds, I struggled. Came back to that mag later, and it ran great. Testing all 3 today.....I want to know if it was fluke thing, or if my rifle just doesn't like Hexmags. Will also be running a couple of Amend2 mags today. I normally use aluminum mags from PSA and Magpul Pmags. I just like to try new/different things, lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Key Mod versus M-Lok, based on looks only?

I have no problems with the looks of my MI keymod. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I picked up 3 a few months ago to try out. I've only opened and used one. USGI and Gen3 PMags ran flawlessly. The Hexmag was giving me a FTF a few times. Got frustrated and went back to another mag. Later on, I grabbed the Hexmag and threw the few rounds I had left in it, had the capacity back up to probably 25-28 rounds. Threw her in the mag well, and proceeded to empty the mag without another issue - it ran fine. I'm not sure what was up. I'm hoping it was a fluke thing. The next time I shoot, I will probably bring the other 2 mags to try out, and if those have issues as well, I will be giving Hexmag a call. I've read that they have great customer service. Hopefully it doesn't come to that. I like the look of the Hexmags, and they seem like a well-bulit mag. I also just bought a couple of Amend2 mags to try out. I've been a life-long hunter...particularly, I love bowhunting. I admit that I am a gadget freak of sorts. I like to try out new and different things. Right now I have D&H aluminum mags from PSA, Magul PMags, Hexmag and Amend2. It seems the consensus is that USGI and PMags are at the top. I buy plenty of those, and they do run great. Like I said, I just like to try different things some times.....particularly when I find them for a decent price.

BATTLELINK Minimalist Stock Review
bigbruce1027 replied to IWTReviews's topic in AR15 Gear and Accessories.
I just put this stock on my AR. It's feels and looks like a rugged, quality piece. It's nice and snug with no wiggle. -
I have the Strikefire II, and I like it very much. I use Magpul BUIS on a flat top rail, and with the Strikefire II, I get a lower 1/3 co-witness. You can't beat Vortex's warranty.
