  1. Not a sample of 1. Of the 15 guys I was out there with, at least half of them had PA sights. The only sight on the range that had an issue all weekend? A $460 Eotech. I've used plenty of medium and high-end reflex/red-dot sights from Trij, Eotech, etc, and the difference between a $200 sight and a $450 sight is certainly not a very big increase. I'd say you pay $250 more for about a 5% increase in quality, and that quality is mostly superficial. Minor torture test (freezer, oven, underwater, drop test, etc): Through hell, beat up badly, drug behind a car, thrown in the water with a crack in the rear glass, blew up 2lbs of tannerite next to it, still held zero and worked properly through it all:
  2. I just got back from 4 days of range and practical/action shooting in the wilderness of hill country, texas, hundreds of rounds through the gun, over 100 degrees most days, and very bright sunlight with no cloud cover at all. I can say without a doubt that the sight functioned perfectly and never had any of the issues you're talking about. Also, PA's sights are almost universally loved, and their reviews say as much. I would trust my life with the sight without a second thought. I think some people just need to feel validated in spending 2x as much or more... I think if you look at the reviews of any of the higher priced competitors, you'd be hard pressed to find that after over 200 reviews, their rating is still at a nearly solid 5/5, and I'm sure you'd see similar complaints to the couple of issues people reported with these.
  3. Magpul is great and there's a small bottle inside the grip to store oil in.
  4. I didn't watch it, but CNN's website reported him as saying "It's easier for a teenager to buy a Glock than it is to buy a computer" as part of his speech. Please tell me he didn't actually say that at a memorial service. Aside from being 100% false (You can get a laptop at walmart about $100), it's also a disgusting time to push his party narrative.

  6. Absolutely. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  7. I think the moral of the story to me concerning the police and compliance is that...you can't defend yourself in court and you can't tell your side of the story if you're dead. They have a firearm pointed at you. Do what they say for now and if they're in the wrong you can sort that out once you get down to the station. The vast majority of the officers and officials at that station are good guys/gals and they're not stupid. You also likely have multiple cameras showing exactly what happened.
  8. Fox is reporting 5 officers killed now. :-(
  9. Dallas Chief now saying they do NOT have both in custody. They're currently in "negotiations" with someone holed up in a parking garage.
  10. They've said it quite a few times on Fox News on cable.
  11. https://www.facebook.com/cory.l.hughes Brother of the POI at the Police Station stating that his brother had nothing to do with it.
  12. Anyone see the police officer grieving by his vehicle on fox news? Heartbreaking stuff... Brought tears to my eyes.
  13. I'd wager the POI didn't have anything to do with it. He was probably just walking with a rifle as some sort of statement and he ended up being their best guess as to someone who was involved.
  14. I've always had a soft spot for Steyr guns.
