    Gas issue

When installing, I take a straight edge through the center of the gas hole and make a mark on the barrel, I line that up with a mark on the gas block that shows where the opening for the gas block is. The BCG is a spikes m16 bolt carrier group. I’m going to order an adjustable block, that alignment pin, a new gas tube and see if that takes care of the problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Gas issue

I have three lowers total. This is the only one with a rifle buffer though. I have one other with a carbine buffer and another with an H1 buffer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Gas issue

Yea I’d like to just get the gas problem fixed. Like I said, it runs great suppressed, which I know creates more back pressure so I definitely know it’s a gas problem. I had an 18” with rifle gas before and never had an issue. Just trying to see what my options are. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Gas issue

I was using .223 and 5.56. I started with 55grains to get on paper and then 69 grains then up to 77. I used American eagle (55), PPU (69), and SSA (77). I have a lot of 77grain bullets I can load up. Maybe reload and work up to a hotter load to see if that helps? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Gas issue

Hey all, I headed to the range this morning with intentions of sighting in my 25-06 and my new 5.56 build. Everything was going good, until I started shooting the 5.56. Now This isn’t my first build and I think I know a solution, but wanted to get some input. When shooting the bolt will not cycle all the way to the rear. 99% of the time, it will not feed the next round. If I put my suppressor on, the problem goes away. I do not have an adjustable gas block on this one as I wasn’t planning on running it suppressed. Should I add an adjustable gas block or do you think the hole for the gas on the barrel is too small? The gas block is aligned correctly, btw. It’s a psa lower with rifle buffer and tube. Ballistic advantage 18” spr barrel. Rifle length gas and an Odin works gas block. Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So, Who Is At The Bench Today?

I’m planning a range trip for next week. Going to finally shoot my .300blk suppressed. I have a 16” .300 also that I have some handloads for. Need to sight my 25-06 in and then going to plink with the 5.56. Going to try to get as much brass as possible to trim and make into .300 blk brass and then I’m also going to get as much range scrap so I can melt it into ingots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Marijuana question

I don’t know about C&R, but I would assume an FFL would. I’ve used FFL and still had to fill out a 4473. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Is being gay wrong?

Do I agree with it? No. Do I care what others do? No, as long as you don’t try to push it in my face or tell me I’m wrong for believing what I do. If that’s the case, we will have a problem on our hands. For example, if one of my kids told me they were gay, I wouldn’t love them any less than I already do. I may not understand it or necessarily agree with it, but that doesn’t change my love for my child. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So, Who Is At The Bench Today?

I agree. I’ve been doing a lot of research on it. I primarily want to cast 230grn .30 cal to shoot subs to save some money overall on the cost of those rounds. Before I do 9mm, I’m going to slug the barrel because I want to be sure on whether I need to resize or not Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So, Who Is At The Bench Today?

I’m going to. I’m casting .30 caliber bullets to shoot subsonic for my 300blk. Not really looking for great accuracy, just a plinking round that will work. Accuracy is going to come from my lighter bullets out of my 16” .300. I’m also contemplating casting some for my 9mm, but will probably get the casting and powder coating down before I order a 6 cavity mold for that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not the bench, but related. Cast my first ingots this evening. Range scrap and collected lead. Pretty satisfying to make my own ingots. Will probably cast some bullets tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Prioritizing gun funds

I always look to complete one before I move on to the next. I’d go with the scope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
