Guess I'm getting some off hand practice

Sometimes you just have to keep the pimp hand strong. But seriously I'm a supervisor for a shipping company and a few of our trailer bays have these large heavy metal rollers that go down into the trailers. Somehow one of my guys got the bottom section locked out and as I'm trying to help him get it back under it gave way suddenly and took my hand for a ride. I've got a picture here so you can kind of see what I'm talking about. Took my index and middle fingers between those bolt faces and the ledge above it. Overall I feel pretty lucky to still have my finger tips minus a few chunks of meat. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
  2. Well I had a bit of an accident at work the other night. Index finger on my right hand took most of the damage. Guess I have a few weeks of off hand practice ahead of me. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

Wrong place of birth on 4473

I wouldn't worry about it. I'm pretty sure the city of birth is just to help them double check it is in fact you they are backgrounding. If you're legal to own the firearm and the background came back clean anyway I'd just let it go. It's just going to sit I'm the shops back room anyway. If it is really bothering you call the shop and see what they say. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Who carries?

I could carry at work but it would be off body because of how much im moving so I don't currently. We get metal detected going in and out but im management so I just walk right through. The problem is im moving so much if I tried to wear it on body it would definitely get spotted at some point. I could easily have it in my backpack which is always at my work station but again I move around so much im rarely standing there near it. The company doesn't want us to have firearms in here. But they also don't want knifes, headphones or cell phones and I see all 3 daily so who knows how they would react to it but I'd rather not risk it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Ar500 targets

It's a safety thing, but one you should pay attention to. I've personally seen swinging ar steel throw back fragments about 50 yards. I was shooting a swinger at 50 yards and a chip of either lead or steel came back and hit my buddy sitting next to me. It cut him pretty good too, if it had hit his head or center mass it could have done some serious damage luckily it just hit his hand but he still had to go get several stiches. Also if the steel mixture wasn't correct you can definitely break the steel after awhile. I've had one spilt in two after a few hundred rounds at about 100 yards. I think it was a defect or inproper mixture in the steel but yea it can break. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    I can't do this...right?

I don't know how big a deal it is to you but a pistol is much easier to move around than an SBR. If you want to leave the state, change address, or sell an sbr your gonna have to deal with the atf. A pistol lower however can be moved between states pending local laws, you can easily change address pending local registration laws, or sold off freely again within local law. Also in some states you can't have rifle in the cabin of the car and/or have one loaded in the car in general but you're okay with pistols so a pistol would be better than a rifle if you want to put it in the car. ACOG, which color reticle?

No ACOG here but I have two dots that go both red and green. I personally like the green mode more. It's easier for my eye to pick up quickly. That being said there are sometimes the red is better. When shooting into bright green fields the red is easier to see or when night shooting the red seems to blind me less. But in low light overcast etc the green shows up quicker and brighter to my eye. Personally I'd go green but that's just based on the fact I mainly use green mode on what I already have. I feel like most people would go red. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk

    Match Grade Ammo?

Well its definitely not match grade ammo and definitely results in non match groups but I've had alot of good cheap fun with the federal 55gr 223 "100 round value pack" you can find at Walmart. Out of my M&p with 1:9 twist I can nail the crap out of 6 in plates at 300yrds with decent cross wind. Again definitely not what I would take to an actual match but if you just want something oit kf the box and reasonable priced with decent enough groupings you can get on and stay on 3-400. I'd grab a few boxes of the stuff Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
