  3. This my dilemma haha. And I know but I want to fund my dream ar Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My point exactly, if I'm going to make an AR to what I want it to be, wouldn't I want a quality lower from 1994? I.e. My colt or Bushmaster and not some other brand. Both lowers should be milspec right? Thus they're virtually identical apart from the parts in the lower parts kit? The only difference I notice really is the lack of the sear block in the BM and the BM has a different anodizing color. Any reason why that is? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If you want an AR15 in CT it needs to be pre-94 ban. Nothing else Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Unfortunately in the great state of Connecticut, we can only have pre ban rifles. That's why I want to modify one of them because I know they are great quality, to just sell them to buy an Olympic arms or SGW or some other pre ban would be non productive I feel as whoever will buy it will modify it here, and I'll be buying a Lower of cheaper quality.
  7. Any specifics as to why the Colt over the Bushmaster? Whichever one I end of keeping will have a new grip, stock, upper, etc. I will eventually get another lower. I definitely feel the keep the colt original nostalgia, but I also want a rifle that modify. Unfortunately I can't have both Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hey, I'm looking to sell one of my rifles to fund my other project rifle, I have a preban colt sporter target model 20" and a preban bushmaster xm15 16". The colt is a small pin, both appear milspec( I'm pretty sure) and the colt has a sear block. Just looking for advice as to which one I should keep and which one to sell to fund my project. I'll basically just be using the lower and the lower parts kit. Any advice?
