  1. It’s an expensive hobby, but lots of fun and helps the land owners out quite a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Most of our shots start about 50-100 yards away. When they run towards us, they can get too close sometimes [emoji23]. We usually don’t take shots on runners past 200 yards..... especially with this ammo shortage. 6.8 SPC. 120 grain SST. About 2500 fps from a 16” barrel. 1600 ft/lbs energy out the muzzle. 3. Hey guys, it’s been a while. Hunting took a backseat the past year or two, and making videos and being an active member on the forums came to a complete halt. But hopefully, moving forward I’ll be back at it, and y’all will be seein more of me on here. Anyways, i finally got around to makin this video. It’s a bunch of kill shots from the view of my Pulsar Trail XQ38. Happy New Years! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I got invited out to Centerville, Tx to help eradicate some hogs. Great guys who have access to lots of property in the area. We recovered 22 hogs that night, including a 275 lb rhino of a boar. Good times. Unfortunately I didnt get video of a lot of the shooting, but here's a couple volleys that I did manage to get video of. 12.5" 6.8SPCII from Blackstone Arms. Sig SRD762TI-QD suppressor from Silencer Shop. Trijicon Reap-IR thermal weapon sight from Cliff at ThirdCoastThermal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks everyone! Surprised I just found this forum. I didn't pace em out but I think I stalked up to about 60-75 yards away from them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Got an invite to go down to Victoria, Tx to help eradicate some hogs that had been hitting the corn fields pretty hard. We started around 9:00 and wrapped it up around 3:00 am. We drove around scanning fields out the window and stopped in a few places to call for a few minutes here and there. We got 6 confirmed kills on the first group. Then later in the night took out a single boar that is not in this video. 7 confirmed kills for the night. Equipment used- 12.5" 6.8 SPC from Eric at Blackstonearms.com. Reap-IR thermal sight from Cliff at ThirdCoastThermal.com recorded with the MDVR from Ultimate night vision. Attached to the muzzle is the Sig Sauer 762 titanium QD suppressor from Silencershop.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. #4 buckshot (not #4 birdshot) with flight control wad for me. Birdshot, especially the small stuff doesn't have the penetration to reach the vitals every time. What if the bad guy turns and u hit him in the shoulder. He's still in the fight. Or what if he puts his hand/arm up to block a chest shot? Might destroy his arm but what if his next round (bc his pistol is in his other hand) hits you in the head? It's a very high stress situation. The target may be moving quickly. The target may be behind cover (door, furniture etc). Dark, half asleep, multiple invaders.. Point is, u can't plan how a home invasion will go. And I want my shotgun to be loaded with something that will leave a deep, large wound channel and take them out of the fight immediately or as soon as possible. Bird shot can kill, and u might get lucky and hit the scrawny bad guy wearing a tshirt square in the chest from 10 ft and drop him. but too many situations where it hasn't ended the fight immediately and the ballistics back up why. Buck shot will end the fight quicker with less than perfect shots in less that perfect situations/conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
