  1. Thank you. I’ve only shot it at 100 yards so far but it seems to like the 95 grain SST. Got some 87 grain VMAX to try too.
  2. Just built a 6 arc with an Aero enhanced upper and 18” BA barrel. So far I’m liking it. I had it ready to go before my mags got here and found it ran great with 6.8/22 Nosler mags. I finally got my 2 C-products 6.5 Grendel mags now but they look identical to the 6.8 mags. Anybody know the difference other than the color of the follower?
  3. Got tired of wasting components and sold off this barrel, dies and brass. Moving up to the 6 arc.
  4. Update to this. Not real satisfied with the performance out of this Liberty barrel. It's a 20" 5R(supposedly)and while velocities are good it struggles to do sub-moa at 200 yds. I've sent the mfr. numerous pics of the inside of the barrel that look questionable and no replies. I did their suggested break in and have Kroiled and JB'd a couple times to try to smooth it out but no help. It would probably be ok as a deer rig to 200yd but not for small varmints where I hunt out to 300yds. That's what I get for trying to go on the cheap. Time to move on to something else.
  5. Just re-barreled with a heavy 20" 6x45. I cobbled some rounds together until my dies get here for break in. What a sweet shooting machine. Will be a range/varmint rig and was wondering what powders work best with the light bullets? Twist is 1:8 5R.
  6. NOT ENOUGH POSTS FOR LISTINGS IN THIS AREA. PLEASE REFER TO THE RULES FOR POSTING. Greg
  7. I can't find any Hagar barrels either.
  8. I've been gone for a while but coming back to ask a question. No search results here ,but anybody know who's selling 24 Nosler barrels? Have the 22 Nosler and ended up going the NosGar route, would like to do the same with a .243 cal. in an AR.
  9. You know what they say, once you go black... I'm partial to FDE myself.
  10. Gas port is .080 per BA. I guess when I run out of brass I'm gonna have to try a 6x6.8. I love the 6mm family.
  11. Another reason to use Aero Precision M4E1 uppers!
  12. Conewago in Etown. Covered rifle/pistol range to 50 yds, covered rifle range to 200 yds. Meetings the third wed. of every month. Check out the website.I shoot there a lot, been a member for years.
