Brownells Sale on CMMG .22LR Conv

Any specific reason for this? It looked to be cheaper to build one using a conversion kit and basic parts are easier to find. But I also didn't look too hard. Considered building a .22lr pistol and using a block off plate for the buffer tube since it's not needed. Ya know, for poops and giggles. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

Got back from vacation and had my conversion kit waiting for me. Won't be able to get to the range anytime soon, but the quality seems really good. The action is really smooth and it comes with a thick rubber cover to protect the chamber extension while it out of the gun. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's just different packages of mag capacity and mag quantity. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

Awesome thanks! I'd really like to find a 25rd mag that is shorter than what it comes with. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

This is good to hear! Do you have a guess at how many rounds you've put through it? And does it clean up well? Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

  10. I picked up one of their nibo bcgs when they were $89 free ship. I figured that was a fair deal. My first purchase was the $69 deal a while ago. Not disappointed in either units. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

I'm on "pause" mode with them at the moment. Currently using my funds to drop my built 355 in my truck. But once that is done, then I have a long road ahead of me! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

LOL! I have an Anderson upper and lower on the shelf. And I took advantage of the PSA 10yr anniversary deal for the matching ar15 and ar10. The Anderson was just from a change of mind. Probably do a cheap pistol with that. I want a long range precision first though. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

Thanks. I think I'm gonna do a little cerakote to it too. Nothing crazy, just some accent stuff. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
  14. Thought I'd post my build now. I've made a couple post but for the most part I've watched from the sidelines. I used a spikes honey badger lower and upper. Anderson LPK. 16" Bear creek .223 Wylde barrel. Magpul CTR stock. And PSA BCG. The hand guard is a 13.5" mlok fleaBay special (which surprisingly enough fit very nicely). The sling was a gun show cheapo that seems to be of pretty decent quality for the money. The optics is a BassPro brand Pursuit 1-4x. Haven't heard of anyone talking about these on forums. It has a similar reticle to the ACSS. And after a buddies employee discount, I figured I wouldn't get hurt by trying it out for $88 ($149.99 reg price). Haven't had the decent weather to test it out yet. But I'll get you guys a range report as soon as I can. I'm eager to see if the optics will hold zero well. Next build I'm looking to do a 6.5 grendel. But the bcg and barrels seem to have a steeper price tag. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

    Howa 1500

Will do. I've been planning on building an AR 10 6.5 creedmore. But I came across this and now I'm on the fence on what to do. Past experience has taught me that I'm usually disappointed for changing my course of direction. Not that I'm unsatisfied with the new decision, I'm usually pleased with that, but still have the desire to finish the first idea. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk
