After several long waited weeks, well a week and a half (but who really can wait that long?!), The kind folks at UPS and USPS sent delivery notifications for everything that I had ordered. And like a kid with his spending allowance I drove straight to the lgs after getting off work to be officially welcomed into the world of ar ownership. A few check boxes and $25 later and I was on my way home. This lower is beautiful, maybe it's cause like your own kin you'll always be more proud of something that you helped create. I did have one worrisome concern and something that I know will be the first to go. I noticed the castle nut was not staked nor did it have the cutouts to stake it properly, can I still take a center punch to the backing plate to stake it or should it be something I change out sooner rather than later? The second thing I noticed was the slop in the adjustable stock, I was less than pleased with this but for the price I paid for a complete lower I couldn't have even bought the stripped lower with a parts kit. The stock is a Trinity force alpha I believe but I'm not a huge fan of it. Maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to order the lmt minimalist stock I've been looking at? Anyways heres some pics and my EDC sig Sent from my FRD-L04 using Tapatalk

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Lower and parts should start showing up Monday and the specialist appointment is the 16th so we'll see if there's any play money left after that bill. Her name is Lexus, I got her when she was 3 (she'll be 12 this year) from a really awesome family. Husband is a professional k9 trainer and wife is a vet as well and it was his mom's dog. She couldn't give her the attention she needed being older and a roommate at the time knew I wanted a dog. Well as soon as I saw her I knew it was over. You all know the rest! Pits are known to have some skin issues and she's had 3 surgeries to remove masses and have them screened to make sure they weren't cancerous. Sent from my FRD-L04 using Tapatalk

Thank you, I know she's going to be in good hands at this place so if there's anything that can be done they can do it. She's like my child and I'll do anything I can to make sure she's okay Sent from my FRD-L04 using Tapatalk

Long time lurker first time poster. This forum as well as several others have become staples in my research and knowledge growth in not only firearm knowledge but preparedness and mindset in general. I'm a chef/purchasing manager in Louisville KY and finally got the black rifle bug. Decided to "build" my own ar platform rifle. While I'm no stranger to turning wrenches on cars or rebuilding equipment in kitchens I don't have the know how to feel comfortable with doing firearms yet but I know this is going to be my slippery slope into the rifle world. I started the "build" with a complete aero lower, radian arms raptor charging handle, Magpul mbuis, and to finish it off a BCM 16 inch recce upper and bcg. Got bad news about my dog though the other day, there's a big mass that's growing on her upper jaw so she's seeing a specialist in the area and that put everything else on the back burner. Looking forward to joining the family here and learning more! Sent from my FRD-L04 using Tapatalk
