    Mchenry county, il 2nd sanctuary.

Lived out there 8 years now. Came from crook county. I'll never go back other then to visit. It's a nice area. It's the local gun range in crystal lake that sponsored the bill. Shot there many times. Nice place. Thank you on target for sponsoring this. Many other ranges out there also. Bunch of smaller gun stores. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

Thank you. You have to fight for what you believe in. If you want to keep it. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk
  3. Like the title says. Any mchenry county, Illinois residents. There is a petition going to get a bill put up to make mchenry county a 2nd amendment sanctuary county. Tell the gun grabbers we will not give up our rights. Can you help me out by signing this petition? http://chng.it/y4H6SJG9 Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

    9mm or 45.

This is the one I want. I already have a shield and really like it. I have shot one off each caliber. Like I said I know the 9 is the more practical choice, but the kid in me likes loud noises. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

    9mm or 45.

Use will be home protection gun, of course range time. 9mm makes the most sense in my head for the round count, cheapest ammo. I'm just really filling in my weapons choices. I have a compact 9 for concealed carry, an AR, now wanted a full size to have all my bases covered so to speak. I guess I was more wanting someone to talk me out of getting a 45 because I know the 9 for me is the more sensible choice lol. I've put off buying one for over a week now because I keep going back and forth, but I'll have to just get off my arse and decide because the sale at my Lgs ends this month. They have a really good deal on them right now. I know I can order off the internet anytime but I like supporting my local businesses. Keeps them around and the owners are really nice guys. Will put up a pic when I decide. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

    9mm or 45.

I wanna pick up a new full size semi auto Already know what gun I want. Only question I am having is 9mm or 45. I have a concealed carry 9mm. So I have tons of ammo laying around for it already. The 9mm is 17+1 the 45 is 12+1. Since I know a bunch are police on here, not counting the fact that your department usually suggests which sidearm you carry. Which is your personal choice more rounds or bigger holes made. My brain tells me 9 because more rounds carried, more affordable ammo. My other brain tells me the louder bang is just cool. This won't be a carry gun just range/ around the house home defense kind of gun. So what say you if shtf and you could only have 1 or the other which way would you go. Ps don't really want a 40 don't know why just not interested at this time. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk
  9. Very good read rampy. You got to have some perspective in life. If you go all or nothing you might end up with nothing. Sometimes it is better to work the system. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

Curious: what is your family food bill a month?

6-800 a month. Have a teenage son in competitive football and wrestling. During wrestling season he works out 7 days a week sometimes twice a day. He probably eats his own weight in food every couple of days. Daughters are in competitive gymnastics but not as bad as the boy. Me and the wife just get whatever is left over lol. All meals are basically made at home very few trips out to eat. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

    Brakes

Definitely put grease on the caliper bracket where the pads slide. If you don't it will rust up quick and you'll have the same problem. And I usually use high temp bearing grease, never had a problem with it and I always have some laying around. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk

    Brakes

Technically you should but if you switch them out quick and just bleed the rears you should be fine. Side note it was probably not the calipers it was probably either rust build up in the bracket or the slides are frozen. Make sure the pads slide in the bracket smoothly and that the slide pins are free and greased. Sent from my SM-G892U using Tapatalk
