  1. Thanks, everyone, for your comments and suggestions! After much searching I was able to find someone with a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block in stock, so I have that on order! In the end I guess I just wasn't as comfortable with my ability to tune the action by buffer weight as I am with tuning the gas block. Also, as was mentioned, this would allow the possibility of switching to a different lower with standard buffer weight if needed in a crisis situation. I will keep you all posted when I install it. 2. Not so concerned with being able to interchange parts, as this gun is somewhat built for a show/range gun......but I see your point! Any recommendations on a good, low profile adjustable gas block that might be actually available right now? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. I just finished a 7.5" pistol build. It's chambered in .223 Wylde, as this was the only barrel I could find at the time that matched my criteria. I used a skeletonized upper and lower for this build, so I would like to tune the action to operate as gently as possible to minimize force put on the receivers. I wanted to used a superlative adjustable gas block, but can't find one available anywhere. I just used a regular low profile gas block and a 3oz buffer with pistol spring. The bolt locks back on last shot. Brass seems to eject slightly forward, which would seem over gassed? Would it make any sense to try to tune with a heavier adjustable weight buffer? Or should I just wait for the superlative? I"ll attach a pic of the gun for fun.[emoji846] Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  5. For me the forward assist would be more cosmetic....as I plan to ceracoat the upper and use the pins, release, and forward assist as accent colors! Sent from my LG-M153 using Tapatalk
  6. I am planning a 5.56 pistol build and would like to use a skelletonized upper with a forward assist. Does the holy roller upper have a forward assist? Are there any others?? TIA Sent from my LG-M153 using Tapatalk
  7. I have been eyeing the Toolcraft one on the Right to Bear sight for awhile...just noticed the price drop on the Zero Fail today!!! Wasn't familiar with them at all....was hoping someone had one that can attest to the quality.... Sent from my LG-M153 using Tapatalk
  8. So, I am between 2 choices for BCG on my current build. I have heard good things about Toolcraft..... But which of these would you choose and why? Fail Zero M16/Full Mass Nickel Boron EXO BCG, or Toolcraft Nickel Boron 158 BCG? Sent from my LG-M153 using Tapatalk
