There is a charging handle on the left. It contacts the nose of the slide. No plastic parts to worry about like the Roni. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Indian creek BFD and Cmmg 22

It just a little 22. Everyone’s doing it. Common. Live a little. HA! Brownells has the entire cmmg 25 round (three mag) kit for 179. I mean! Here. Take my money. Combine that with bulk ammo and you can shoot all day. That 22 is fun. Training with the built rifle is extremely useful. Optics and weight all the same. I have seen that other people say the zero is different. But my focus is at practical 25 yards and closer. I’m going to call it sparky. Being a south paw it does send a few sparks on my off arm. Pay to play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Indian creek BFD and Cmmg 22

Range report : CMMG 22 bolt functioned flawlessly with cci mini and lead! Poi POA appears to be right on When compared to my 223 at 25 yards. Zero failures out of the packaging. Just a little lube prior per recommendations. Fun fun fun! ergo grip was almost exactly what I was looking for. Nothing is perfect. But it did add some thickness where I wanted it The BFD worked well. It mostly made the shooting experience more pleasant for me. No gas to the face. The recoil and muzzle rise was there, but hey it’s a 223. The RSO comment ed that the sound reduction was negligible with increased muzzle flash. I expected the flash. There may have been a slight reduction in sound to me, but it was still there. A suppressor it is not. But the reductionism shock wave was worth the 80$. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I truly enjoy shooting it. While heavier than a cca roni, it is truly solid and accurate! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My apologies. Without pictures, it didn’t happen. Coming tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I received the BFD, cmmg 22 bolt, and ergo grip today. All is assembled on the 12.5 HM defense. I was feeling bad for the fellow range members while I blasted them out. Hopefully the forwarding device helps. The grip is for obvious reasons And the 22 is for training and fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mil-Spec trigger shoe swap?

That’s exactly my point. “There’s an app for that”. Sometimes the 3rd party nails it. Sometimes they reinvent the wheel. I guess that’s where innovation plays in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mil-Spec trigger shoe swap?

I probably will. I just jumped in the AR world and feel I made a solid investment in an little known, but fantastic brand. The trigger is fine. Keeping respectable groups considering the amount of trigger time I have with it. Coming from the glock world, there is a replacement part for anything. I finally tried out the apex trigger shoe on the OEM assembly. I assumed that countless manufacturers had already thought of a shoe swap for those who like the trigger but want a different finger feel. I’ve felt flat face and they are alright. Standard bend is alright. I a small patch of grip tape on the trigger to help my muscle memory and to see if it helps with finger sliding until I reach a point where it’s not advisable in a deployed home defense situation. Until then... the grip tape is nice actually. A novice question, but why don’t more manufacturers make divots where the ideal placement should be? I’m sure there are a thousand reasons seasoned shooters can give, but preference is preference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
