  1. I had a buddy come over and video my ar in slow motion to figure out what was going on. The red sprinco spring is way too heavy. The bcg was only cycling halfway. 2nd part of the problem was the mag. Found out after messaging tromix that their mag is "labeled" to work for 450B but it is DESIGNED for 50 beowulf. The first 2 rounds would feed fine but the 3rd sat at too high of an upward angle. I have put the stock spring and buffer back in, retrofitted a factory metal mag to work, and have ordered duramags. Ill go back out to the range in the next day or so to see how it feeds. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
  2. Thank you. Ill look into them. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
  3. Anyone with a 450 bushmaster willing to chime in? I am having feeding issues with the last round in a mag. Palmetto lower, km tactical side charging upper assembly, tromix lancer mag with single feed follower, and hornady black brass case ammo. I have tried standard buffer spring, sprinco red buffer spring, standard buffer, h2 buffer, and h3 buffer. The first 2 rounds feed fine and the 3rd jams. Put 2 rounds in a mag...first feeds and the second jams. Any suggestions? Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
  4. Unfortunately there's no pigs around where I live in KY so I'll just be hunting deer with it. This is my first 450 but definitely not my first AR. My main concern with 450 is whether it kicks like my beowulf. Beowulf is near impossible to shoot with a scope unless its got a ridiculously long eye relief. Couple of my buddies got black eyes off shooting it with a scope and it nearly got me too. Unfortunately I don't reload. I dont have the tools yet to do so but will invest soon with how expensive 450 and 50 ammo is. Currently I just buy ammo in bulk. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you and yes I do plan on hunting with it. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks guys. I had read in another forum on here that standard buffer and springs would work. Ive just got 2 lowers...one for low cal 223 and 300blk and one for big bore 450 bush and 50 beowulf. I already have the red sprinco spring, h3, and an h2 on order. Just havent had the time to get out and shoot it so I figured I'd ask for opinions. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
  7. Can't seem to find a good answer. Most complete bushmaster rifles show a red sprinco buffer spring but say nothing about buffer weight. Should I go h2 or h3? 16" barrel with carbine length gas system. Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk
