  1. Thanks everyone for their input and recommendations. Appreciate all of it. Thankfully I am very familiar with the ar platform, former military. But probably like a lot in here we didn't have all the accessories that are available now when we served. I was in the 82nd 91-94. Standard issue was the A2 with some having the M203 attachment. Decided to build this before everything went tits up with another vet who has been downrange. This purchase was more impulse then anything more out of will I like it or not. If not, not a huge investment. If I do then this gets passed along and I upgrade. I know there's better options and worse so went with something I thought was middle of the road. I'll post up after shooting with it. Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk
  2. Going to try this. See how it works out!! https://www.midwayusa.com/product/2773220686?pid=249922 Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks. It was more of just wanting to try that's why no big investment. I'll figure it out, the riser seems like the solution. If not not the end of the world!! Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk
  4. I've done plenty of research. It was more of do I really want this on my weapon. If it turns out I like it I might upgrade to the Sig. But at this point I'd rather be stuck with a $100:part, not a $300 that doesn't end up staying mounted. The primary use of the weapon will be for CQB if the need arises. Have other options for short and long range targeting. Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk
  5. I have the low mount. Where do I find a QD riser?? Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk
  6. Unfortunately that's not in the budget!! Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk
  7. So I have a Romeo 5 on my weapon. Decided I wanted a magnifier. After research I landed on the Sightmark T3. Got it yesterday and mounted it. Seems like a solid built piece. Like the quick connect and the ability to flip it out of way when not needed. So the problem I'm having is it's too tall for the Romeo 5 and won't line up properly. Have the Romeo on the high mount. Anyone ran into this problem and have a fix or recommendations?? Thanks, Tim Sent from my E6910 using Tapatalk
