I have been reading about SDS Imports regarding their 1911 and I've read some good reviews. They seem affordable for a 1911. Does anyone have any experience with them? Thoughts? Would you recommend?

I appreciate that. The more I've been learning over the past few months makes me want to build my own. I like how many different things you can do with them versus handguns.

I have always had an interest in guns since the first time my grandfather taught me about them as a young kid. I've shot guns since I was about 10 or 11. I've always had more of an interest in handguns but over the last few years I have wanted to get an AR-15 because I shot a friends and really enjoyed it. Now I recently purchased one a few months ago because of want and because we are being told we can't or shouldn't have one. As free men and women that are law abiding citizens we should not have this right taken from us. I then stumbled across this site a couple of days ago and I decided to join this community.

I agree with you. The revolution which led to us becoming a nation was done so by good men standing up to tyranny. We have continued to stand by and let Marxism enter our country, schools and judicial system. The best way to take us out is from within. We need to hold our representatives accountable. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men should do nothing.”

Sadly, I lost all of my guns in a boating accident. We can vote for who will represent us in this government but if all we do is vote and wait for the next election then we have accomplished nothing. We need to reach out to our representatives and let them know where we stand. I have reached out to mine and I will keep letting them know on the issues that are of concern to me.
