  1. The Ammo part is the biggest punch to the gut, imo. Getting ammo is now going to be expensive, difficult and limited. FML.
  2. Not sure if it is allowed to link to other gun sites, but calguns has a good rundown: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=1214480
  3. Yea.... http://www.mercurynews.com/california/ci_30080186/california-gun-laws-jerry-brown-signs-some-new
  4. That knife is absolutely beautiful.
  5. I missed that Awesome. I'll look into this once I move into CA and have all my rights stripped from me.
  6. Does BHW do .308 Bolt action barrels? Which platforms do they make them for, if so? I'm moving to CA soon, so I figure a bolt action would satisfy my shooting needs and still be legal since it isn't an "assault" rifle.
  7. I hope to be in the state for only 4 years max...there are other offices for this specific company, so the idea is to move there, prove myself a valuable asset and then transfer to another office in a better state.
  8. That is a fantastic group. Black Hole Weaponry makes some quality barrels. I'm not sure you can get much better than this (at least at 100 yards), especially for the price (or may at any price?). Awesome barrels.
  9. I bought my BHW barrel from Surplus and it works great. I did this with it just today: Suffice it to say, it works just fine
  10. My latest group: This rifle shoots great. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of the Black Hole Weaponry barrel. I fed it some Norma Match 77gr HPBT .223 ammo and it shot this .246 MOA group. Fantastic!
  11. Just got this group today with my 18" SPR (BHW Barrel, Norma Match 77gr HPBT .223 @ 100 yards). I am thrilled with the results! I finally got a good group on paper. I am happy to have gotten this group down before I move to CA and can no longer shoot my SPR (It is not coming with me). Here it is:
  12. I am leaving all my firearms with family until I get back to the east coast. I don't want to modify them and I figured it would be easier to buy a CA legal firearm in CA. Also, if they decide that everyone must turn in their guns, I didn't want to possibly lost them. I may shoot them a PM. Thanks!
  13. I am moving to California towards the end of October. I know...it is a very daft thing to do with everything that is going on. I will be in the San Francisco Bay area (Working in the city, maybe living on the peninsula). Any suggestions for self defense or how I can prepare myself? Obviously taxes are amazing (My calculations show I will only take home between 40 and 60% of my gross). Should be exciting for a little while, but we'll see how long I last. I hope to be back to the east coast before too long.
  14. Got an A2 stock from gshayd for free. Great guy, thanks a ton!
