Hello All, I've read plenty of posts on these forums about my potential upcoming build and they have been extremely educational! (http://ar15armory.com/forums/topic/56750-notes-on-a-762x39mm-ar-15/ and https://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_121/687405_Strong_7_62x39_Bolts_.html) My next build will be a 7.62x39 AR. The part that concerns me the most is the bolt since its prone to failing. I have read many reviews/posts and watched tons of YouTube videos (most recent video). I have narrowed it down to a few based on my research: 1. LMT's 7.62x39 bolt 2. Young's Manufacturing 7.62x39 bolt 3. Cason Engineering's 7.62x39 bolt....no link 4. Windham Weaponry Please let me know your thoughts on these bolts or if there is a better one (I've heard M1S and MGI are so-so at best). It seems thickness around the bolt face plays a big roll with shearing issues (LMT's bolt looks a little thin to me). I don't want a machined 5.56 one that's used to fit 7.62. Also, the type of steel seems to be important (Carpenter 158 vs. 9310). Has anyone used any of these bolts for 2k+ rounds?? Any issues? I know LMT is the gold standard but they are $$$$ and the extractor is unique to LMT's bolt [buying a spare part means buying a new bolt :( ] Any and all advice is appreciated!

I wanted to give the Relia-Bolt a try. Has anyone use/bought the SRC Relia-Bolt? It seems like a great idea with the taper lugs. What about the NP3 coating and S7 Steel? Any metallurgist here can chime in on the S7 steel using on a bolt? Thanks

I am in the market for a bolt carrier, what do you guys think about the ones from Failzero and Sharps https://www.failzero.com/buynow/ar-15-products/m16-4-bcg-kit-with-semi-auto-hammer-detail.html http://store.srcarms.com/product-p/srcbbcg.htm Both are treated with coating, EXO vs NP3. The lugs on the Relia-Bolt look interesting.

So I've noticed that there are Full-Auto Bolt Carrier Groups and then regular Semi-Auto ones. What's the difference between them to be put in my AR-15? Is the Full-Auto one just generally more durable?
