  1. I've got a Mossberg MMR AR in 5.56 and the quad rail is crazy heavy.. I was told that most aftermarket handguards wont fit?? really looking for suggestions on a full length replacement...any help out their/
  2. I recently purchased my first AR and I'm looking to outfit it a little. I've done a lot of reading the past few days trying to learn the terminology, different companies, etc... So excuse me if I misspeak. My question is, I'd like my handguard to look somewhat like the image below. So I'm wondering if this MI one piece ff rail (7 inch carbine 9.3oz) is a good choice for a Bushmaster XM-15 O.R.C.? And would it come close to achieving the look in the image? And these are the rail covers I'm assuming I'd have to use. So would that rail and those covers be a wise purchase or does anyone out there have a better recommendation? I decided on the ff because c0nspire's comment on this post. But I decided on the MI and opposed to the lighter DD Omega mentioned in that post simply because it's quite a bit cheaper. Thanks.
  3. Any opinions on this item? https://www.primaryarms.com/Head-Down-Products-Provectus-13-Rail-System-p/hdpr13.htm The Provectus Quad Rail offers a larger inside diameter designed to accommodate your suppressor or for those that like the feel of a full sized quad rail. 4. I bought a Bushmaster MOE Dissipator 90829 a while back and I have grown tired of the Magpul hand guard. Can anyone recommend a replacement quadrail for $150 or less?

  6. I've seen some rails on the tops of Magpul hand guards and I'm wanting to do the same. However when I look at the hand guard I have I noticed that the slots are larger up top than on the bottom and sides and was wondering if its a different rail, mount, or if its an earlier version of the hand guard. This is my first AR and this is the part of the build I'm currently at and I'm not familiar with this hand guard.
