remat457
I know Glock used to make a Glock 29 mag extension like the 30 but I don't see it in the parts list any more. Unless things have changed the 30 extension won't work. Does anybody make anything similar after market?
sling10mm
Remat, Are you looking for just a grip extension, or something that adds rounds to the mag? I have just the grip extensions on my 29 mags, they don't add rounds. I believe they are made by either Pierce or Scherer. Sling
remat457
I was hoping for the +1 extension like on the Glock 30 (pic borrowed from ARFCOM) Since I know they used to make one for the 29, but the extension will work. Thanks for reminding me!
gmor
pearce makes a grip extension but it does not increase capacity, just gives you a "pinky" grip. Edited February 15, 2013 by gmor
RAD13
Brownell's has the Lightning Strike pad for the 29 mags. It's made of aluminum and does add a bit of weight to the mag. It adds the same mass as the glock 30 mags do. I have a few of them and they make the grip feel the same as the 30. They were a bit of a PITA to put on but totally change the feel of the grip. Much better than the pinky extension.
Rampy
I've got several of the orginal GLOCK +2 mag extensions from Kiesler Police Supply, will put em on the G17 & 19 mags and see how they work.....
