scotto 171 Posted February 12, 2007 (edited) The blower motor in my furness started going out this last weekend so I took it apart, cut the shmit out of my hands on the sheet metal, cleaned the ¼ “ of caked on dust off the motor, tried to oil it up as best I could but it has sealed bearings. It worked for a little while but I woke up to a cold house… Had to break down and call a repair man and I HATE doing that as I’m a do it your self kind a guy. Just another cold weather Minnesota post….. Edited February 12, 2007 by scotto

Just another cold weather Minnesota post….. Broken heating systems suck bigtime. We've got our home set up on three different heating systems (different systems in different rooms). All of that backed up with a wood burner in the front room. None of the systems themselves will make the entire house warm, but at least it won't freeze up on us. Hope you've already got it working scotto.
scotto 171 Posted February 12, 2007 (edited) We have a wood furnes also but the blowers on that are shot also… We rarely use it but it’s a good backup. Still waiting on the repair man, i hope he comes soon as I got to go into the shop some time today. Edited February 12, 2007 by scotto
