Pepper
Rifles made between 2006 and 2014, are being recalled. See the following link for more information. http://www.remington.com/pages/news-and-resources/press-releases/2014/Firearms/Remington%20Arms%20Announces%20Voluntary%20Product%20Recall.aspx
GLShooter
Just checked two of four I have bought. One good and one bad. I don't know which trigger they will put in them. Mine are the ones that you have to take the stock off to adjust. The external version would be nice. Of course I have adjusted mine but the recall would supersede that little activity. Retcop
So after all these years of denial, they finally admit there is a problem ? Edited April 12, 2014 by Retcop

GLShooter
So now the question is do I send them in. I pretty much try to have muzzle control when I have one loaded. I believe I tget some pld Remington trigers from the last century and retrofit them. Greg
Warlike
So after all these years of denial, they finally admit there is a problem ? different kind of problem than was brought up the last go around, last go around people were removing the gunk Remington uses to set the trigger at factory weight and then tuning it so low it was barely engaging the sear, after that any kind of bump on the stock of the rifle would unweight the sear and trip it. This one it sounds like the gunk is causing improper sear engagement. Edited April 12, 2014 by Warlike
Medic07
Luckly mine are older than the recall...............made back when quality control meant something. JK, I suppose sooner or later they just had to give something so the "other" rifles don't feel so inferior.
md65636
I have two for the recall, one is stock. The other has been adjusted and an oversized bolt added. I doubt they will take back the modified gun .

I doubt they will take back the modified gun . The bolt should not have anything to do with the trigger having too much gunk. I'm actually going to ask that they tune mine to 3lbs while they have it. soleeagle
Well I just checked mine and it is on the list also. May just have them set it to 3LB also. Wonder what the turn around will be.
captainbarred
mine is on the list as well, kinda sucks cause I was planning on trying to trade it in towarsd a .22 savage. I'mm not sure if I should trade it and tell them it needs to go in, or if I should send it in, get it back, and then trade it....
