Received this e-mail back after an inquiry. Good news from Tactical Ammunition

G,

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I was in and out of the
office all week last week.

We just started production on the American 30. We will be offering both
Ammunition and Complete Uppers.

As far as the Ammo goes, we will be offering 200gr Subsonic and 125gr
Supersonic.

I'm a little shy on details on everything else at the moment as it is
VERY New.

If you have any more questions please feel free to give me a call or
shoot me an e-mail and I'll do my best to get you answers.

Thanks!

What magazine is the appropriate for the A300? Will a 6.8 magazine properly feed the A300?

I'm using ASC 6.8 SPC and 6.5 Grendel stainless steel magazines.

Both work without issue with the A30 cartridge. But I like the feed lip design of the Grendel mags better.

The Grendel magazines have a little rounder edge on the end of the feed lips.

Cool, plenty of 6.8 mags in my possession, now just an upper to add to the collection...

I run Grendel mags almost exclusively because I can shoot either round out of them. If you are a one caliber only guy then the 6.8's are perfectly fine. I really can't find much demonstrably different in the two devices. Just don't buy into the fantasy of using a standard GI magazine.
