New Camera - One Of The First Pics

Recommended Posts

I just got a Fuji S8630 16MP w/36X optical zoom to replace my 9yr old 4.2MP 12X optical zoom Konica/Minolta Z3. Most of what I shoot are wildlife pics, so composition isn't often possible. I'm really just trying to capture critters doing what they do.

Anyway, I shot this one this morning out the door f the barn. You can easily see three, but I think there are actually four.

Three of 'em are still there, though they've shifted around a little.

I just shot this out the back door, and I laser ranged it @ 83yds.

Bought it used, 2mos old, on that auction site. Cost a whole $77 to my door.

I like the wildlife shots. Many times patience runs short. Those that you "happen upon" are sweet.

Most of mine are just "targets of opportunity" so to speak.

I get lucky and see something when I happen to have a camera nearby, like these. Sometimes they turn out...sometimes not so much.
