308 Is Tight!!

Recommended Posts

I frequently get pictures of groups sent to me by various sources across the net of BHW barrels and their performance levels. Often it's just a group with a distance and a chambering. They don't realize that I love to get all the nitty gritty data on the loads and rifle specifics but I don't get lucky all the time.

This is one of those that was forwarded to me. This was a 308 Winchester BHW barreled bolt action shot at 300 meters. I am on the hunt to get all the specifics but meanwhile for the sugar plums dancing in your head as you drift off tonight.

Damn!

I agree. I'm getting a 6.5 Creedmoor on a Savage try and am vascillating on blue printing a Remington 700 as a switch barrel in 6 Creedmoor.

Wowzer! Nice shooting. Tell the shooter congratulations.

I'm not sure I could even see a target that size at 300 yards, let alone group it like that.
