Hey all of AR15Armory. I've been lurking here for a little while and I just joined up. My name is Josh, currently live in Waterford. Looking forward to utilizing some of the great info on the site. I built my first AR15 in earlier last year, I'll probably be building another if I can sneak it past the fiancée . Anyways, good to be here and I'll go ahead and share a picture of my build!

Welcome to the Armory Jamtwo. Nice rifle, so what is she.

Well sir, she is a build I got from PSA. The specs are:

Anderson Lower

16" Melonite Barrel chambered in 5.56

1:7 twist

12" quad rail I painted with Alumahyde 2

Magpul CTR stock

Strike Ind. Grip

Vortex Strikefire Red/Green dot

Polymer Flip-Ups (brand escapes me)

That's about it. I love it. I just got the Troy battle sling for it. I'm probably going to end up making a paracord sling for it as well. I just made one for a buddies AK and it's surprisingly comfortable for $10 haha. Thanks for the welcomes guys!

:anim_wave: Howdy neighbor!

I used to run the M-59 corridor a lot for work. As a matter of fact, I have to be in Clarkston next Tuesday.

Well, as planned I updated it. Not as planned, I had to replace the entire upper. Long story short, trying to remove my old barrel nut (some Chinese junk) after having seize up, my old upper was crushed by a vice. I had to exercise some damage control and get the nut off to salvage the barrel. Ended up getting an Aero Precision assembled upper and a matching 15" keymod rail for a little over $200. So here we are, back in action. This time, I've got the correct armorers wrench and vice block on the way, and I ditched the cheap Monstrum Tactical quad rail (quality was there but the thing just looked huge because of the diameter). I'm really happy and can't see any more BIG changes in the near future. Here are some pics, including the thrashed upper ‍♂️.
